I loved the interiors of Grand hotel de la Reine. It has a grandeur mixed with the history that adds to the overall charm of the place. The hotel is easily accessible from Nancy train station - about 15 minutes or less by foot. The classic double room was comfy. The breakfast salon overlooks Place Stanislas - a splendid morning view! The exquisite breakfast spread featured local delicacies as well. That was indeed a treat! I found the hotel to be worth the price paid and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable accommodation experience in the city.

The mattress was new and it was very comfortable. Much appreciated! The hotel was in a great location and very easy to get to from the station. The bathroom was good for the size. Although the window was small it did open wide which is great for fresh air and sleeping at night. There was ice cold bottled water available for pick up everyday for guests. The outside area is ideal if you want to sit outside. One of the girls at the evening reception was very welcoming and helpful. This is how all the staff in the hotel should be.

You don't expect luxury from a budget hotel, and some will be better than others. As long as you have a shower with hot water, it doesn't matter if some of the tiles need to be replaced. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet, despite the central location. The room was spotless and the light was bright enough to read by. Painted flower on one wall was a wonderful touch.
