Nice breakfast with homemade bread and jams and sweet little pancakes plus a fruit tart. Set us up for pleasant walk around the fields surrounding this farmhouse B&B. Guests have own communal lounge and this is where the TV is. Feels very much like a family home. Madame was away during our stay and her husband has just a little English but between us we managed to communicate. He tried very hard, and succeeded in giving us a pleasant experience and it was nice to stay with a private host - genuine B&B's seem almost to have disappeared in some places.

This was an unexpected stopover during our little trip to France. It was a last minute booking, we were tired so it was wonderful to be greeted by Matthew who is a super friendly host. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable. It was whisper quiet, which was surprised us given it was such easy access from the road. Generous sized bathroom and a separate toilet!
