Our cosy room was well appointed and ideal for a 3 night stay. It might have been a little small if you were 2 big people.
The bed was very comfy and the housekeeping was good.

Liked · The lady of the house serves a nice breakfast which comprises of home made 3 different sorts of marmelade, home made buns and brioches, home made yogourt, fresh fruits as bananas, pears, strawberries, .... she even sent us a list by mail of restaurants that in her opinion are good value... more priced and also better prices ones.... she also gave us some tips for trips in the region and things to see ! Nice person. BTW : Wifi was available and the signal, however not always stable and strong, allowed us to surf most internet pages with ease.
I wouldn't rate this necessarily as negative ...but one needs to attend breakfast by utterly 9 am... so it read on one of the notes that we found in our accomodation... I did not bother to ask why ....

Instead of staying overnight at Calais after a ferry journey drive a few more miles and stay in an old chateau very close to the motorway for access but in nice grounds. Makes a nice change from a motel.
Very warm welcome to a hotel with character and in such nice surroundings; the garden is lovely and the whole property has a friendly feel.
The breakfast was great value for money, and plenty to choose from. Baguettes, brown and white bread, freshly baked croissants and swirls (I literally was woken up by the delicious smell coming from the kitchen), cereal, all types of yoghurts and fruit purees, cheese, cold meat, eggs, filter coffee and espresso, teas, fruit juice, fruit, you get the picture!
The breakfast was varied and coffee or other drinks were replenished -and there was plenty to eat. We found the bedroom spacious, very clean and bed very comfortable so had a good night's sleep. Parking was just outside the entrance away from the road. Highly recommend for travellers returning to the Calais port as only 20 minute's drive away - we found it more private and a bit more personal than an hotel. Understand from owner there are 5 bedrooms available as well as a gite.
We stayed here for the second time. The atelier is a very comfortable appartment, everything you need is there. The bed is good, in spring you hear the birds singing in the garden. The host is there to help when needed but at the same time gives you all the privacy you need. Marquise has a nice restaurant and three big supermarkets. The surroundings are beautiful, it is a 20 minutes drive to the coast.
This is a very comfortable and spacious appartement, well equipped en very quietly located even though it is very close to the centre of Marquise. we were there in spring and every morning we listened to the birds singing in the garden. the owner lives nearby but respects your privacy totally, she is there to help if needed.
Marquise is a small town but has four big supermarkets and a nice restaurant.
Nice and spacious house. Located in the main road in Marquise, close to several supermarkets and shops. No traffic noise. Only a 10min drive away from the beautiful beach in Wissant, and 15 minutes from either of Les Deux Caps. Even Boulogne-sur-mer is only 20min away, nice for a rainy day. Friendly host who met us when we arrived to hand over the keys and give some extra info.
Beautifully appointed apartment with ample parking just outside. Our host was waiting for us to arrive and she was delightful. Marquise is a pleasant little town with all the amenities you could need, very handy for crossing the Channel. We have been looking for the perfect stop-off in this area for years now, and I think we have found it. We'll be back.......
It was a very well equipped gite and very comfortable too. Its location on the main street through Marquise makes it easy to find. Three supermarkets are close by, so it's easy to buy groceries and fresh food for self-catering.
The owner lives on site and is on hand to help if required.
A great stop over location.
Ideally situated 20 minutes from Eurotunnel. The hotel is a little tired but there’s plenty of parking and the rooms are adequate. A lovely girl who spoke good English checked us in and also served at dinner. The evening meal was nothing special but it was cheap!
