Every apartment was a good size, simply decorated, nice and clean.. and had its own lovely shower room. The showers were amazing! Towels, toilet paper and hand soap were provided.
The beds were comfortable.
The kitchen area had a kettle (a "must" for British guests!), a microwave, toaster, coffeemaker and a hob. Washing-up liquid and teacloths were provided. There was salt and pepper in the cupboard.
It was good to have a table and chairs in each apartment.
Being so close to Vierzon station.. and the Town Hall, meant we could walk to those places...which was important for us as a larger than average sized family group, needing to go to those places.
There is an Aldi you can walk to (though it is quite a long walk) and is open for a short time on Sundays.
Each room had an air-conditioning unit (though we didn't need to use those..but it was good they were there if we had needed them).
Free WiFi was very useful.
The owners/managers were very helpful, kind and welcoming. They made sure an iron and ironing board were there for us to use, as requested.
Obtaining the keys for each apartment was simple (...much appreciated after quite a long journey).

Newly decorated appartement so lovely and clean and nicely set up. Parking was super convenient outside the house. nice location next to the river. Host was very kind to shift our dates twice as we had car problems.

Cosy, clean and modern apartment, a small walk from the center of the village. Everything available for a short stay and very easy to pick up the key.
At face value the village is run down and anonymous, but...
At face value the village is run down and anonymous, but start at the church to find this place's secret corners. The church complex is, in fact, the last remaining buildings of what was once an important abbey. There are little treasures in the streets - an old laverie, for instance - we spent a few minutes walking around the place enjoying its bygone glories. The restaurant/bar was on summer shut-down though we still managed to get a cold beer. We had to go to nearby Vierzon for a meal and shopping.
