It’s in the country and very quiet. The ambience of the old country home really made us feel welcome, but it was the owners who were the stars of the show. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they really went the extra mile for us.

We loved Beaulieu and the Clos is right in the heart of the old town near the R Dordogne. The rooms were beautifully and lovingly furnished and everything worked perfectly. Thierry was a kind and helpful host and served us delicious breakfasts, recommending excellent routes around the Lot.

We loved our stay at this châteaux ...beautiful room , great bed , great view over the valley , beautiful dogs too and a wonderful host . Fabulous breakfast with homemade breads and jams . Would love to come back it was so comfortable and gad a lovely dinner in the village only a short drive away. Just the perfect spot to get away into the country by the Dordogne river. Highly recommend.
