Sous les Remparts is a beautiful, character home in a wonderful, historic location. Our hostess could not have been more warm and welcoming. She was very kind and nothing was too much trouble. There was a very generous breakfast with local produce - all beautifully presented. We felt very well looked after. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. Lovely hot shower. Our apartment was beautiful - spacious, the peace and quiet, big rooms, gorgeous views over glorious countryside and the history of it all. Set in the heart of a stunning village. Guillume was very welcoming and an excellent host. Unfortunately the restaurants were closed so went to next village for a takeaway - which was delicious and the local tabac allowed us to eat it there with a glass of wine! Lots of parking. Quick, pretty drive to main route south.

We loved the real French feel and the ambience of this hotel. The courtesy and kindness of our greeting were archetypal French, and the breakfast was great in a beautiful dining area. We hope to return if we go back to Limoges. À la prochaine!
