A lovely, very clean and very comfortable space. It is on the ground floor so ideal for ageing people like ourselves as there are no steps. Bed was extremely comfortable. We slept very soundly We had a home cooked dinner on the first night of our stay and it was really delicious with very generous portions. Breakfast was delivered in a basket and was also excellent. Hosts, Iain and Pete are great people - kind and welcoming.

The location was perfect and in a lovely quiet part of France. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities you would want and the continental breakfast was a great start to the day!

Good location, breakfast was not spectacular but definitely OK and very reasonable price. We stayed early Jan and rural towns like Confolens are not very lively at this period: that's why we like it.

Everything! Ideally located in the centre of Confolens, right next to the free car park. Lovely period house with interesting features, very friendly and helpful hostess, who couldn’t have done more. Huge bedroom and shared lounge with TV, excellent huge continental breakfast with tons of choice! We loved staying there!
