My stay was very comfortable despite the freezing weather. The apartment has central heating, a fully equipped kitchen, good domestic wifi (better than hotels in my experience), ample free parking and is in a quiet area. It is a short walk down the hill to the shops and there is a lovely walking/cycling path along the river that apparently stretches from Cherbourg to le Mont Saint Michel. Good access to surrounding areas, and only an hour from the Ferry at Caen/Ouistreham. There's even a hot pizza dispensing machine near the river, and I saw a mobile burger bar (I think) one night too. A great little spot.

The ibis Saint-Lô is located 3 km from the city centre and a 45-minute drive from the Landing Beaches. It offers free on-site parking and soundproofed accommodation with free Wi-Fi.

Everything is clean and neat. Polite and friendly staff, breakfast is very good (variety of drinks, cheese, bread, serials, etc). Enjoyed staying one night. Recommend.

Very lovely welcome by the smiling receptionist. She went out of her way to assist my elderly mother which was greatly appreciated. Beautiful warm room on the ground floor and excellent breakfast brought to the room. We look forward to returning.

Nice breakfast The girl at the reception , called Emmy , was extremely efficient , and is a very nice person ,always smiling and giving all types of information s.She even could repair the window in our room which I couldn't open.

Cathy could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. We were there to visit the D-Day sites and so the location of the property was well placed to access them without too much driving. We also both prefer to not stay in large corporate hotels so this was perfect for us.
