Everything was perfect, starting from the location (20 minutes walk from a village with bars, cafes and supermarkets), beautiful surroundings, calm and peaceful atmosphere, the stunning castle and of course extremely nice and friendly hosts!
Around the castle you can meet cute rescued animals, enjoy your view from every corner of the property and rest from busy city life.
We came to the castle by bike and so we could enjoy cycling in the area.
Breakfast was also super tasty and diverse! Delicious pastries, homemade yoghurt, freshly squeezed orange and great coffee.
The room was even prettier in real life than on photos. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated and a bath was another great point!
We totally recommend visiting this place and we would like to be back as soon as possible!
The host was friendly and helpful, but, to our surprise,...
The host was friendly and helpful, but, to our surprise, could not really advise on food options nearby. The house is very strangely arranged. It is fitted into a converted garage, feels quite cold. There are no doors between upstairs bedrooms (just a small separating curtain), and the curtains on the windows do not block the light (had to add an improvised curtain). Part of the roof downstairs in the bedroom is made from transparent plexiglass, which makes it very noisy when it rains (could not block out the light in the morning, so you wake up with the first light). Upstairs space is quite small, but beds are comfortable. WiFi is very slow, but it can be expected in a rural location.
