A good ibis hotel- has its own bar and restaurant - although we didn't use either- you need a car if your staying more than one nigh as we did.

Excellent air conditioning and bed very comfortable.

We went for a wine tour so St-Emilion is the best base for the right bank. Food and wine options are better value for the connoisseur than in Bordeaux. Dozens of wineries surround the town and the terrain is flat on the vineyards - not in the town itself which seems to sit on a slope.

Saint-Emilion was the best stop on our trip thus far.
Saint-Emilion was the best stop on our trip thus far. We are staying in our 8th hotel right now & not one compares to the hospitality shown to us in st. Emilion. It is the most beautiful village. I will be back next year.

It is a beautiful town, with an interesting history. The food was excellent everywhere we ate. Take comfortable shoes as the cobblestones can be quite uneven at places. Take as many wine tastings as possible - the wine is soooo good. Don't miss out on the unique local macarons either. Do the historic tours and walks, it is all just so good for the soul.

The medieval town was compact, but not suitable for disabled visitors, as the streets were steep and there were many stairs. Roads were cobbled, so wheelchairs were difficult to navigate around. However, as our group were all able bodied it was not a problem for us.
As you would expect from a premier town, prices were fitting for the experience.
I would go again and stay in the town again, as day visitors did not have the luxury of the facilities behind the streets!
We ate in 3 restaurants, the best by far was Restaurant Le Tertre. Booking essential, I booked 3 months in advance to make sure we got a table!
We did the miniature train trip around the wineries in the location, excellent stop with wine tasting and celler visit.
It's a must visit town.

It's a magical city but be prepared to do some walking wearing flat shoes with non-slip soles due to the hilly and narrow roads being preserved as they were a gazillion years ago. There are many shops to peak the interests of many. Parking would be the most challenging event so keep the vehicle of choice the smaller the better.
The historic Catholic Church has 9AM services on Sunday's who welcome parishioners. Most businesses speak a fair amount of English if French is not your primary language. Credit cards are preferred.
The surrounding vineyards are immaculate and the streets are very clean and inviting!

Amazing restaurants book in advance if you wish a/c or one of the three Michelin star restaurants! Great walking around and inside the city. Entire city is beautiful. If you have spend a night or two.
The property has been newly renovated. It is cozy and beautifully decorated. We much appreciated having a king-sized bed in our room.
Maison du Clocher is ideally located, on a quiet street, in the heart of medieval Saint-Emilion, just a few steps from the monolithic church. No need to drive anywhere, there were plenty of restaurants nearby!
The property owner went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She made all of our dining reservations for us. She served a delicious continental breakfast every morning.

Petit Monlot is a sparkling new, with state of the art equipment, small hotel with 360 degree view of the vineyards of the spectacular Unesco listed St Emilion Vineyards, a 15 minute drive from the historical center. We became friends with Christine and Christopher, wonderful people who tried to make us happy in every way, and personally cooked breakfast for us, as if we were hosts in their home.
Peaceful setting, lovely and kind hosts. Jean-Francois and Laurent were quick to help with restaurant reservations in Saint-Emilion which
is a short and beautiful walk through the vineyards from the property. Evenings superb with their delicious charcuterie and quiche in the
restful gardens. Rooms large and beds comfortable with impeccable linens. This property and hosts are treasures.
What a beautiful place to stay. In the centre of Saint-Emilion. Lovely room, nice and quiet and had all the facilities we could need and more. We walked to the accommodation from the train station and went to all the vineyards and attractions by foot. Blaze was a fantastic, knowledgeable and a friendly host.
The location was perfect, we could walk to all our restaurants we booked. The car park was perfect, off the street, and secure.
The staff were very attentive and helpful, the facilities were clean and smart.
The Saint-Emilion wine by the glass in the bar was excellent and very good value for money.

Location is good, but the hotel does not seem very interested in its appartments. The equipment was a disappointment, in particular in comparaison with a "similar" appartment we had rented the night before close to the Futuroscope- which was so much better.
This town is magical and the apartment we had was a loft on the very top floor of an old 3-story building. Charming and romantic. The church clock tower is visible from the bedroom skylight. The location is perfect to walk to nearby surroundings.
The place was unbelievable - felt we had the best accommodation in the town. Had everything we needed for a three night stay
Very helpful and thoughtful owner
The position is just perfect in a perfect town
I loved everything about this hotel !! The room, the location and especially the staff!! I was so sad to leave ! I can’t wait until I go back ❤️
This is the absolute best hotel in saint emilion !!
The staff were wonderful. We were delayed by the air traffic control problem in the Uk and they were able to help us access the hotel even though we were arriving much later than planned.
Bfst not provided but hosts referred us to "Mie & Merlot" a bakery about 1 block away. Absolutely one of the best quality bakeries and very good value for breakfast or lunch.
Very Kind host and clean and new room.
Location is perfect,too
Near by public parking place.
Second time stay and I will visit again when I came back to Saint-emilion.
Comfortable, air conditioned apartment , well located in the center of Saint-Émilion, linked to a nearby hotel, with helpful staff and easy check in and check out.
