My front desk experience with Laurence at 10am on May 17, 2024 was outstanding and memorable. She was able to check me in early instead of just leaving my bag for the day. She offered some tips for traveling into Vieux Lyon which saved me at least 30€. We also had fun giving me a suitable French name. I also enjoyed the location, breakfast and accomodations for a late checkout the following day when my flight was cancelled. Since I was rerouted with an overnight stop in Vienna I was immediately booked a night at the NH property at the Vienna airport.

Fine, does the job. Very close to the airport and there is a free shuttle to and from the airport, even when we arrived at midnight. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is great and the staff was super understanding and accommodated by dietary requirements.

Location was perfect for the stadium and such a pleasure to walk back after a late night at the rugby. Good restaurant next door - Leon. Staff were welcoming even when we arrived late. Good wifi, excellent value for money breakfast, friendly staff and clean. And you could open the windows!

Room was okay, convenient for a single night stay before flight as long as you had a rental car. If you stay, do not pre-pay (see below, you get caught out owing small tourist tax to complete check-in) and make sure you arrive during opening hours.

Perfect highway stopover for the night on way to ski slopes. Nothing fancy but suits the purpose.
