nice hotel, the menus and everything were only in French, quite often we can work out what the choices are but had to google translate. Food so so, wouldn't eat dinner there if I visited again.

Property and room were very clean and neat. Jerome, who welcomed us was outstanding and funny!! Great customer service, remembered my name every time and ensured we were comfortable. Breakfast the next day at 5 Euros is great. Nice hot water and comfortable bed. Good value for money. For all the other comments about it being a small room I think is unfair as you see the room size when booking it. The town of St Flour is just so pretty and quaint. Hotel just out of town but next to a good Carrfour and McDonalds across the road. Excellent place to stay in for a few nights.

We had one stop with two dogs travelling to Spain.

The bedroom was lovely and the bathroom great (apart from the shower gel ran out). We wouldn’t normally eat dinner in a hotel but the food here was excellent- in choice, presentation and taste. Great wine list and half bottles also available across many fine wines. The cheese board was superb, although the option of some crackers would have been even better. The guy that checked us in spoke no English and we spoke no French but he really tried to communicate with us which was much appreciated. The room was basic but clean and we had a preprepared continental breakfast in the morning which was lovely and less than €4.90 each. It was a great place to stop.
