A great little stop-over hotel, with lovely helpful staff. Liked the quick access off the Northbound motorway and the plentiful parking behind the hotel. The hotel is located within a service station area so there are a number of restaurants (McD, Starbucks etc) a couple of minutes walk from the hotel (note - Google maps is incorrect with location of these restaurants- they are both in the building that straddles the motorway). Family room is a good size, with two separate areas.
Located in the north of Mâcon, Hôtel-Restaurant le Château de Besseuil, Mâcon Nord - Teritoria is set on more than 4 hectares of parkland and vineyards.
This charming hotel is situated on top of a small hill overlooking the vineyards of the Mâconnais, and it benefits from an exceptional location in quiet and peaceful surroundings.

My wife and I were made very welcome by the owners and later had a splendid meal in the Hotel. We had chosen the Hotel
because of its proximity to the Voie Vert cycle track. As we were between Dijon and Macon hotels on the route are very welcome. The room we were given was very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was good and the storage offered for our bikes was excellent.
Built on the remainings of a Benedictine abbey, this 3-star hotel is in the centre of Cluny. Built in 1817, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi access and drinks can be served in the lounge or outside.

Wonderful historic central location. Warm welcome, luxurious room and excellent breakfast. Accommodating hosts. One of the best places I've stayed in over 60 years of travelling.

This is a one-man-show, and when we arrived in the afternoon, we found the main door closed. We found the owner very quickly working in the (beautiful) garden behind the house.
The owner was very friendly and courteous. Apparently, he speaks little English.
From this accommodation, we were able to walk to Cluny.
We stayed here for just one night on our way to our destination and enjoyed the night very much.
Frédéric Carrion Hôtel et Spa features free bikes, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Viré.

Absolute 100% memorable experience. From the moment you arrive you will be met with discreet cordiality and attentiveness.
We ate dinner at the restaurant (Chef Frederic Carrion) and were delighted with a burst of flavours and colour. Truely one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I need a separate page to describe each dish.
We stayed in the Junior Suite which is spacious and spotless. And wow - what a comfortable bed.
A wonderfully memorable time due to Frederic Carrion, his wife and team.
Thank you. We will be back.
Situated in the heart of Cluny, this charming hotel, a former pottery factory, offers a unique atmosphere. The Mâconnais and Beaujolais vineyards are located a short drive away.

Amazing building full of character and charm, the room itself was beautiful, with an amazing terrace looking out over the town, and we wish we had more time to enjoy it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and very dog friendly. Also the restaurant food was excellent!
