One of those places you wish you could stay for a long while, it is an outstanding château . Started with a welcoming drink. I recommande the local red wine. The place is run by a hard working, down to earth couple. They are both really helpfull and considerate. The room I stayed in was vast and really clean. Great bed. Really good bathroom. To top it all, breakfast was very good and plentiful. Checkin at 5. Cyclist welcome.

The proprietress was so energetic and welcoming but balanced with respect. She greeted us, showed us our room and left us to rest. The dinner restaurant was excellent as well. The food was great with a vegetarian/pescatarian option. We got the three course meal and it was both delicious and beautiful. Again, the staff was so helpful and welcoming. They even have a couple of friendly but distant hotel cats. You are literally yards from the chateau as well and the village gets quiet and peaceful in the evening. They have a safe place to lock your bikes and there's a small grocery down the street if you are bike touring.

This is an excellent place to stay in Langeais for cyclists. We had a lovely room and a great breakfast. The property is well located, an easy walk from restaurants and shops. Langeais is an attractive town and worth visiting.
