Clean and tranquil location, well placed for our cycling trip to La Rochelle, safe storage for our bikes and an excellent breakfast. There was only a takeaway pizza shop in the village for dinner (& it was a Sunday night) but we were able to eat the pizzas with a bottle of wine bought from the same shop in the delightful sheltered space outside the Venise Verte and use the provided cutlery and glasses from the little shared kitchen

The location was fab and waking up to the birds and canal in the morning- vet quiet and peaceful. Homemade brioche and jams at breakfast were lovely too.
