Easy to walk to nearby restaurants. Lovely walk down breakwater. Not brilliant for dog walking but I suppose most town centre hotels have similar problems.

The main selling point is the fantastic atrium which was just magnificent to sit in, both in the evening and at breakfast. Rooms were more functional but large and comfortable and ours though on a side street did have a canal view.

Sete is a bit Venice but without the tourists.
Sete is a bit Venice but without the tourists. It is full of locals and local life, with fishing boats, some tour boats, yachts and even car ferries. The fantastic indoor market and restaurants specialise in seafood, particularly oysters - very reasonably priced.
There are lovely walks up to Mont St-Clair, with its amazing views, or out to the lagoon or west along the miles of wide sandy beaches.
There is a lot of handsome architecture in Sete and a lovely park.

The town is so walkable, yet there is still so much to see. So many different little areas and so charming. I never stopped eating as there is so much food to try. The Halles market is amazing! It has a very authentic feel, laid back...you feel like a local!

Wonderful town with a special feel, great resturants, shops, walk among the waters edge.
Very easy to wander, a little difficult to park but a good underground carpark on the central road. Will look out for chances to visit again.

We ate in Sete twice, but were twice disappointed.
The town of Sete was dirty and crowded.
It was difficult to park in Sete, and difficult to drive around at the time we went (July) as it was very busy on the roads.
I would not visit Sete again.

I liked Sete.
I liked Sete. It was a good place to finish my bike ride from St Malo. However, it was also a bit too big and busy so a day less would have been good. Lots of restaurants, bars and places to just hang out and watch the world go by. A good train service to Montpellier.

Le Grand Hotel is well-situated for enjoying the various attractions of Sete - the canals (by boat), Mont St Clair (bus), restaurants, cafes - or for using the railway station to explore the wider area. The hotel's rooms are arranged on several floors around a spacious grand atrium, which is used on the ground floor for breakfast. It has its own secure car park. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a convenient bathroom. The staff were pleasant, displaying varying degrees of helpfulness.
The host was very attentive and pleasant. The accommodations appear to be brand new. The street level of the BnB is made up of 3 guest rooms with bath plus a common sitting/TV area plus a kitchen that is always available. The location is great! Free parking out front. It's about a 10 min. walk to central Sète. It's quiet! There's a great takeout pizza place close by. Guests have control of the heat in the room.
The room was impeccably clean, had a great shower, a very comfortable bed, and the woman at reception was kind and very helpful. I was a hesitant to confirm my reservation, because it was a last minute trip and Hotel Régina is only a 2-star hotel. (This week in August, all the other hotels were fully booked!) It was, however, perfect for me. I’d definitely go there again.
This apartment has an amazing view of the port of Sète. We awoke to a spectacular sunrise streaming into the rooms. There are quite a few steps up to reach the apartment but it is worth the climb. also there was adequate storage space for our bicycles.
We arrived early (before check in time) and there was no problem leaving our car in the safe and secure parking lot behind the hotel. The location was ideal - walking distance from the town centre. There was a great choice of foods for breakfast.
Le Petite Bijou is a fantastic small apartment in Sète. Gréât location, comfortable bed, clean and great owners. Last year we stayed at a nice hotel across the canal but we really enjoyed sitting out on the tiny patio at Le Bijou.
The hotel itself and the staff were just super. This was a 2 star rating and we felt it deserves much more. The amazing breakfasts were served to us by the friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them..
There was parking for our bikes, the rooms were a good size with a comfy bed and nicely equipped kitchenette. Our host was very friendly we were in Sete during a jousting tournament. Very fun to see
one room was with a view - great room! second room, no view, less attractive. Breakfast covered the classics, satisfying. near the hotel there is a chef restaurant! the staff speaks English!
Location to beach was great and the No. 3 bus ran continually from hotel to Gare Station. Also close to good restaurants. Pool was clean as was apartment. Good size apartment.
We made a last minute reservation while on a road trip. The hotel was way better than I expected. Super friendly staff, great location, very clean and comfortable room.
The place was very spacious and with a well equipped kitchen.
Nice shower and comfortable bed. A good option when travelling for work, instead of staying in a hotel.
Fantastic position, on the canal, very bright open space very well furnished and decorated.
Very well equipped kitchen.
Easy to walk to all the amenities in Sète.
We arrived at the hotel on the Bastille Day when some activities were held on the river nearby. There were quite some restaurants and parking slots in the area.
Excellent breakfast layout. Great staff. Public transportation into Sete right outside. 5 minute walk to public beach. restaurants and shops right around it.
Optimal location in Sete. Quiet with a nice view and a cute little balcony over the canal. Ample underground parking 300-400 meters away under the canal.
