Unique experience! Like living in a true castle. Our room was approached by 31 ancient stone steps winding around and upwards, so not suitable for less abled. Super huge apartment with spacious living room, coffee/ tea facilities, gifts of local biscuits, soap etc, also t.v. but we always keep away from that.
Big comfortable bed and huge bathroom with enormous walk in shower. Spotless and far reaching rural views. Also covered swimming pool which we didn’t use.
Serge, the proprietor, was an superb host in every way. We took advantage of the offer of a platter of local cheeses etc and local wine, served in the baronial hall on the evening of our arrival. The chateau is a distance from restaurants so on the second evening Serge kindly allowed us to use up food we had in our cool bag and the following morning he provided an early breakfast as we had an 8 am rendezvous at the local livestock market. We took up his suggestion of a visit to the Gorge du Tarn and were so pleased to have done so…..spectacular!

The Host is very welcoming and very nice! The place is spacious and very comfortable. Nothing is missing, every little details have been foreseen! The Sauna and Hottub are very nice. The hot tub itself is a very specific model with music, light and bubbles all monitored on the same remote. Very easy to set the atmosphere you want. The kitchen is fully equipped and suitable for long stay, the bedroom and bathroom are very charming and comfortable. The whole place is decorated with good tastes, involving wood and stones. We really enjoyed our stay!

The pool facilites and opening times were very good. The natural surroundings was also very nice. There is nothing to do in the little town, but there is a little shop that has the minimum, the nearest bigger shop is 10 min away by car. The space in the house was very good, the rooms are spacious, the bathroom too. Perfect for a family of 4.
Stayed here for one night on our way to Spain for Christmas. This hotel is quite basic but it was clean and comfortable and not bad value for money. Our little dog was made welcome. There is no restaurant on site but a restaurant in the village 'La Bergerie' recommended by the staff at the hotel is exceptional.
We liked the ambience and cleanliness of the room. The proprietor was very friendly during breakfast service. We were advised as to a good restaurant nearby and indeed it was very good. The room had old French shutters and an ambience of times past. This was a change from hotels found just off the autoroute .
