The villa offered us a perfect blend for our holiday. Some days you just want to chill by the pool and some days you want to explore the region. The property was modern, spotless, and had everything you need for a self catering experience. The views of the valley and the mountains are magnificent. Our hosts were lovely, they greeted us and gave us a personal tour and were available any time we contacted them. We will definitely be back as there is so much to see in this part of France.

Really exceptional place - the hosts went over and above what you would expect. The cycling related rooms, themes and inspired antique furniture made for an interesting and informative stay - we browsed the posters and pictures for hours. Food in the cafe was very good - with combination of locals and tourists all welcome to enjoy the social spaces. Hosts also helped with our touring around plans and information about other local sites and ammenities. Will be returning again!
We ate out in the nearby town - about a 5 min walk from the house - really good quality in both restuarants and music both nights!
The Abbey is also worth a visit.

very small village but quite nice to stroll into. we stayed 2 days: it was too much! hopefully went visiting around! the automated figures, the only attraction in this village, was very disappointing as there wasn't many of them ! (much more about a cartoonist) neither no explanation or whatsoever about them. not worth the 8€ per pers.

Almost every restaurant was closed. restaurant that was recommended was a kebab shop with almost inedible food. Could not recommend ti.
The Auberge de Puits was very difficult to get to account alleys, one ways, etc. It is in desperate need of updating and cleaning. The host was very sweet and friendly but I cannot recommend it for a stay.
There was confusion as to payment - whether handled by Booking or not. Turned out that when no one was available I left assuming payment had been handled, but it hadn't so I had to mail payment at additional cost. Wish Booking.com did a better job. I can't recommend them either as I had a series of errors with them, from booking the wrong place or event to not being able to contact them for credit. I did manage to get them to provide one credit after several tries. Still waiting on another.
Since I was traveling for 2 months I learned a lot about booking sites - they use bait and switch tactics with prices changing each time you inquire in an effort to get you to book.

Nice, small village.
Nice, small village. Souillac used to be a main stop over village for travelers heading to the south of France and Spain as they braved traffic jams in July and August. Visit the belfry, Roman cathedral and old passage way that links the two.

From what we saw of Souillac it was ok with some nice resturants but it was the surrounding villages that really captured us, from Sarlet and Domme in the West to Turenne and Martel in the East. Very enjoyable area.
Is so good, we stayed again 4 weeks later.
A lovely warm welcome from Madam, the patron. She even printed out our passenger location forms, something which, worryingly we had been unable to do before setting off from Spain.
Lovely comfortable rooms, view of the square, superbly comfortable bed.
Breakfast really is excellent, served by a lovely super friendly lady.
Private car park, 20 metres from the hotel front.
Exceptional does not cover it! The hosts were so helpful and friendly, the cafe at the rear of the hotel and the vintage cycle repair shop and boutique further added to this pleasure of staying here. Each room had its own unique styling. Also nearby an amazing outdoor heated swimming pool.
Really nice social space outside in the rear garden - wish we were staying longer than the 2 days.
This is a very comfortable, well equiped and well located apartment. Martine is an excellent host. Souillac is a great base for exploring the region - everything we wanted to see was not much further than 1/2 hour away. We loved the stretch of river near the apartment - we walked there every day of our stay - a very peaceful place. We would definitely stay here again when in the region.
This auberge is right in the middle of the old medieval part of Souillac, it is an old building, full of character. The accommodation is basic but perfectly adequate. The manageress is down-to-earth and efficient but friendly and good for a conversation. The bar has local clientele, the immediate area is full of life, but peaceful at night.
Great location and hotel. Benjamin was fantastic at helping us throughout our stay. He and his team went above and beyond to help us get to our friends wedding when our taxi didn’t arrive. I will be forever grateful to them for that and would always recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!
Small hotel with a very nice garden, small pool and lovely owner. Very near the station, so convenient if arriving by train. The breakfast was very good with homemade jams and cake and fresh fruit as well as the usual continental breakfast offerings. We would not hesitate to return.
I was well recieved. The woman from the front desk was very helpful and very kind.
Beautiful hotel within a nice village.
Breakfast was really great. A lot to choose from. I like the fact that I can choose how I boil my egg.
Definitely worth the stay!
The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. This hotel definitely has old-world charm. The morning breakfast was from local vendors and staff and simply incredible. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.
Excellent location in the center of Souillac. Very easy to park the car, too. Less than a minute's walk from the market and the medieval village center with lovely restaurants and outdoor seating.
Beautiful country side location very near Souillac. Swimming pool was super clean as were the rooms. Delicious food and fast wifi. Jan and Marion were perfect hosts and Le Manoir is exceptional!
The manager was most friendly. This is a well appointed town hotel with big enough comfortable rooms and views and outdoor facilities and pool
Good breakfast. It is short walk to station
older building with character, but the square in front of the hotel is the centre of all action in Souillac; excellent staff; outstanding breakfast; free parking
Was the perfect place for me to stay. Breakfast was great and the staff very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel if I was staying around Souillac
