Jardin Massey is beautiful, museum of the Hussards attached. The markets are still large, lively and varied. Concerts and themed weeks such as Tango or horse festivals makes it an interesting destination. There are parts of Tarbes more attractive than others so plan your trip!

The garden is quite extraordinary... In contrast with a very bleak city. Good only because it's quite close to some interesting spots in the mountains and far enugh to avoid premium touristic fares. We found an awesome small restaurant though (and I'm french myself from the countryside - I actually know what genuinely good food is like!). No longer have its name sorry.GillesIreland

Good recommendations from monsieur for restaurants. Good place to stop on way to the Pyrenees.

This was a different room - more like a suite - an entrance area, big bedroom with TV, table and chairs, and a large bathroom with bath & shower. There is private outdoor parking and also space for one car in the garage. The location is fabulous - just a few steps from centre ville. Breakfast was plentiful and delivered to the room. And it has its own large, private balcony.
