This property was an absolute delight. The outdoor sitting area was lovely for the afternoon sun and wine. It was very quiet and had a gorgeous view of the mountains and town when looking over the hedge. The host were very well prepared and everything ran smoothly. There was an informative booklet. It felt very homey, well equipped and had a safe parking space.

Vence is under-rated when compared to its more illustrious neighbours Tourette’s and St Paul de Vence. But it is just as pretty and more interesting in what it offers. The main church is really interesting with its museum upstairs. Good choice of restaurants but book in advance as they get busy!

There are many charming villages within an hour's drive of Nice. We have stayed in half a dozen of them. Vence is unpretentious, full of character and a place to return to. While it attracts tourists, real people live here and the quality of life is exemplary.

Vence very pretty Hill top town , in winter few tourists which is fine , but also many places closed . Restaurants which were open had few patrons ( we were only 2 in one place, Les Agapes which had good food ). 2 days is plenty.
We have stayed in Vence in prior years, and my husband is very familiar with the area -- which is convenient to town, small shops, a wonderful mall/sculpture garden, and the old village. The small guest house was perfect for our few days with a full kitchen (Martine has it well equipped and we typically cook while traveling), clean and tidy, wonderful light, lovely yard and hosts. If it was summer we would have used the pool! Very secure property but close to everything you need for longer term stays.
This is a wonderfully spacious and light property with an exceptional outdoor area for a town property. It has been recently renovated and the pool, while small, is perfect for cooling off after a day out. Vence centre is a 10 minute walk and a supermarket a stone’s throw away. The property is private and has good double glazing. It is well equipped and generally comfortable.
Excellent family run hotel! They made us feel welcome. It is a short stroll into a hidden gem of a village. Breakfast on the terrace with a view of the Mediterranean was a treat, and then later drinks from the bar on the terrace after a dip on the pool. The building is from a by-gone era of luxury, and the hotel is an oasis from the bustling life along French Riviera.
The owners, Tom and Ruth, and their son were so helpful and pleasant and really care about their wonderful hotel. The pool area has wonderful character and the surrounding mountain area is beautiful. The room had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and everything was super clean. Breakfast had something for EVERYONE! We loved our stay!
Great property in the antient city of Vens, close to Nice airport and popular tourist attractions in the South of France. The accommodation is very convenient for a family of 5-8 people, comfortable bedrooms with bathrooms in each bedroom, well equipped kitchen, everything is brand new and clean.
Staff is the friendliest we have found in any hotel in France and probably it is because of their commitment that this hotel is still up and running with style. Great to have free parking and swimming pool in this location. very spacious rooms with a terrace to sit outside
The apartman is close to the lovely and old city centre of Vence, just a few minutes walk.
Fantastic beaches and historical little old towns are not far away.
The apartman is well equipped, cosy and has a nice terrace.
The landlord is very helpful even with trip tips.
Very nice hotel in a great location, quiet yet close to restaurants and bars. Very friendly staff, we chose a junior suite and it was lovely. Roof top area with fantastic views. Secure car park if you’re taking a car. All in All fantastic stay.
Nice calm rustic place with good view. Place had everything you need for family stay. All locations like Cannes and Nice are short drive away. Vence itself is beautiful small town well worth visiting and is walking distance away.
One of the most beautiful views I have ever seen and the owners really have an eye for detail! The hotel, the pool and the terrasse looks amazing! The breakfast was great also. The town easily reached by foot.
This was a great discovery just outside Vence. The owners are very kind and helpful and it felt like a real home from home. The studio is comfortable and well equipped. it would be cool to return one day
such a beautiful maison d’hôtes
In the middle of the village of Vence, the rooms are huge and superb. Both Hosts are delightful and breakfast is so delicious.
