Staff were amazing as soon as we arrived and they continued to look after us all evening throughout a busy dinner service. Dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced. We then came down in the morning to a set breakfast laid out for us which was the perfect start to our holiday.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. We didn't speak any Frech but they tried their best to help us and we used Google translate to comunicate with each other. We didn't know that many places closed at 8.00 pm but they kindly opened the kitchen for us so could enjoy a delicious meal. Their gesture was lovely!

The parking was excellent and the host kindly allowed us to leave our car at the hotel for a while after checkout. The breakfast was very good. The host was very kind and friendly. We enjoyed sitting in the garden in the late afternoon and being within a short walk of the village.

Breakfast was first class, the home made apple flan was a lovely surprise. The location is outstanding, so peaceful, tranquil and quiet and the bedrooms more like a country house than a hotel, most luxurious. The potential of the business is enormous; perhaps for guests arriving late, sandwiches and coffee might be available by pre booking, nothing too smart, just a light snack with coffee and tea perhaps.
We would certainly stay there again, few can match the wonderful breakfast!! And with Caen so close for the Ferry to Portsmouth, one can enjoy the surroundings before the short drive to the Ferry Terminal.

The host, Valérie, was fantastic and what an interesting house and out buildings. Very quiet and a perfect location. Easy to find and plenty of parking. The breakfast was also fantastic with lots of home made products. Cannot recommended this place any higher and will visit again next year.
The convenience of this site was spot on for me. It took less than 2 min. driving to get to my desired visiting place. The location is out in the country and a car is needed to do any traveling. The room was comfortable, not fancy, just the bare necessities. The hosts are very very nice and accommodating. The property overall needs a big clean up and tidying. I felt very safe. The grocery store and restaurants are about 20 min. away.

This is an unexpectedly delightful place to stay! The owners' personality runs all through the hotel - each room is carefully presented in its own theme, without a hint of kitsch or forced effort. Great breakfasts await following a good night's sleep in their huge four-poster beds.
