This was an impressive building which is being brought back to its original grandeur by its owners. There was ample free parking and a lovely back garden to enjoy strolling amongst the trees, shrubs and spring bulbs.
Our bedroom was very comfortable & clean as was the en-suite bathroom.
It was a short stroll to the delightful town centre - we regretted not having longer to explore and will return again.

We return to this hotel because we really like to see the lady that is at the reception. We could chose the hotel across the road or any other hotel around Auxerre. However the fact that we have a nice welcome and that this lady even remembers us is absolutely fantastic. We really would like to recommend this hotel because of its female personnel. We use this hotel as a stop from our long journey from Merlimont (62155) to Meylan (38240).
