Beautiful town with plenty of great restaurants to try! We stayed for 6 nights and it was a brilliant base for exploring other towns in the area. There is not a huge amount of shopping in Vitre if this is what you are after but some lovely bars to visit in the evening! We spent one day exploring Vitre itself and this was plenty.
