Located halfway between Edinburgh and Gretna Green my wife to be and I stayed here just for a night before eloping the following day. We had the place to ourselves, our room was very spacious and tastefully decorated and dinners and breakfasts we had in the Ghillie restaurant were excellent. A very memorable start to our visit to Scotland for all good reasons.

We had a wonderful stay! Lovely place - very comfortable and well situated. Charles and Jane were friendly and most helpful - lots of nice little touches and a great breakfast!
Perfect for our stopover!
The room was clean and tidy, the beds were good.
The windows had child safety features, the heating, hot water and bath/shower was fine.
All in all it was a great night's stay at a very fair price.
We were all very happy 😊

Hotel was great with wonderful views.
Hotel was great with wonderful views. But the breakfast at the service station is terrible. Do yourself a favour and travel 5 mins south to a much much better option. The next junction south has a truckers cafe just off the main road with ample parking. the food was brilliant and well priced. We will definitely be going back for some more of their breakfast on option.
We chose this hotel to break our journey up into Scotland. We liked that there is 24 hour reception as we could only set off from our home at 7pm. The lady on reception was very friendly despite the late hour. We were pleasantly surprised by the range of drinks and snacks on sale at reception. The room was clean a d comfortable with a wonderful sunrise view. I would certainly used this chain in future.g 2wg

We were travelling from London to Loch Carron,Scotland. We needed to stop and rest halfway through, so we stayed over night at Days Inn Abington, and it was above expectations, room was really clean, comfortable and definitely is good value for money. Check in was quick and easy. Great view over the garden. LOVED IT.
Location was brilliant for what I needed, halfway between my house and my sisters as an overnight stop to break up the drive. Room was very clean and I felt like it had been properly sanitised. Staff were friendly and helpful. Price was good for being a hotel on the motorway.
Nice clean room at the back of the hotel, overlooking fields and sheep (I asked for a quiet room). Staff lovely, especially Cameron on reception, couldn’t do enough for me. Lynn who arrived in the morning was also very nice and helpful. Would certainly visit again.
Everything. Staff were particularly welcoming and helpful.
The stay would have been perfect but being essentially near the motorway, I had to wear earplugs to have a good sleep.
The view from the room is beautiful.
Enjoyable stay. Will use this hotel again.
The Days Inn at Abington, Scotland has a super location. It is located next to a super service area which offers all types of food, general store and a furl station. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
This is a basic hotel but in a very good location if you need an overnight stop on a trip up north. It's very good value for money. Plenty of space for walking the dog outside. Morning coffee from Starbucks at the services next door but was a bonus.
The hotel is in a motorway service area. So no catering within the hotel, but the service area is around 50 yards away and contains takeaway foods, although nothing really aimed at breakfast. As a stop off on your journey it's perfectly fine.
I slept like a baby for the first time in weeks. I don't know if it was the drive from Essex, but I hit the pillow and was out like a light. Also, the location does wonders to the hotel's benefit, as the view was stunning.
Does what it says on the tin. A stop over on the way to Edinburgh. Arrived late and checkin was fine, accomodation was slightly worn but all very clean, room was warm and hotel was quiet so slept well.
A very convenient and well located hotel if travelling and need to stop on route. For the prices it was a bargain. Handy having the service station right next to you for food and coffee etc
Requested a quiet room and was allocated one which was very quiet indeed. Staff are super-friendly and I can highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money too.
Friendly efficient check in. Warm clean room. Comfortable bed. Quiet location even though this is a motorway services hotel! For the price this hotel is excellent!!
