The Old Stocks Inn, hotel in Adlestrop

Nestled in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, The Old Stocks Inn is a recently refurbished 17th-century coaching inn that overlooks the green where the original penal stocks still stand.

The room was superb. A tiny bit noisy because it was on the street side, but the village is generally quiet. We arrived late and had the Big Night In plateau with a pint. Absolutely perfect. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel and the food at dinner was one of the best meals I've ever had in the UK as a whole.

Very professional service given, loved the overall character of the property, being a small working farm only added to the character. My party of three adults and one 8 year old child fell in love with the short holiday let. Only wished we could have stayed much longer, but be rest assured I’ll be back in due course.
