We had previously stayed at Anchor House and the owners remembered us.... So friendly nothing was too much trouble... we got a chinese take away and they set us up a table in the restaurant and warmed the plates for us. Beautiful rooms and facilities. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend.

Bramble lodge was a wonderful & peaceful place in Beautiful surroundings including Alpacas 🦙 next door!
Warm and cosy & delightful yurts - beautifully decorate. There was ab added bonus of the badgers den which was fully equipped kitchen area, tv, sofa, dining table & a nice bathroom with little extra touches of shower gel/creams insane you’d forgotten anything!
Hosts were exceptional, greeted us in arrival and were very welcoming.

Alford is a useful central point for the area.
Alford is a useful central point for the area. It's quite a pretty village but has definitely seen better days. Very few paces to eat and even the ones that were open, it was hit and miss if they were serving food on the day you wanted it. Granted it may be better during school holiday and peak times. Family run.
Family run. Proprietors were Excellent and staff looked after you well in all area’s. Plenty of parking with outside seating also has separate outdoor covered smoking facilities. There is only evening meals but excellent midday meals in the garden centre’s in woodthorpe and just on the other side of Mumby. Alford is has a Very narrow road when there are parked vehicles but easy to walk around. Good little Restaurant just up from the hotel but closes by 13:00 hrs. It is within close distance to the coast line.

Perfect location as family live in Mablethorpe... Lovely host...Room and bathroom was very spacious.. Host Paul was very helpful and friendly.. Breakfast was warm presented well and very tasty.. would definitely stay again.

Alford is an easy drive from the market towns of Horncastle...
Alford is an easy drive from the market towns of Horncastle and Louth, both worth exploring for individual shops. The coast at Chapel St Leonards is wonderful, with long walks possible along the coast and a string of nature reserves along the dunes. Specially recommend the North Sea Observatory at Chapel Point which has amazing views and excellent food in the Seascape cafe. A particular gem only a few miles from Alford is Claythorpe Water mill where you can feed ducks, geese and brown trout in the mill race, and children can get up close with goats and rabbits. Also serves good food.

The hotel itself is spotless, bedrooms & bathrooms are spacious, very modern with a very comfortable bed, we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was amazing, good quality produce and cooked to perfection, it was piping hot when served. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone it’s a must if your in this area, we will definitely be returning, as the hosts were very friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you.

It’s in a lovely little town called Alford which has a bakery, a couple of pubs, fish and chip shops and a cute little craft market. There are regular busses to Mablethorpe, Skegness etc. Our dog enjoyed running up and down the sizeable garden. It had everything we needed included and we had a great staying.
