Good food in the bar which had a nice friendly atmosphere. The paella had lots of sea food and was very tasty

Fabulous history, gorgeous building with great connections to Charles Causley, Launceston’s poet. Our room was superb, looking over the valley down to the Kensey River and Causley’s birthplace, school and place of burial.

Cottage was exactly what was advertised, good facilities, clean and provided all the essentials like washing up liquid, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, even milk and biscuits. The only issue was parking as the space is okay for a small car but we had a 4x4 and it was difficult to park and only just managed to get off road, could not then get to outside seating or dustbin. No offroad parking as notices outside all surrounding houses stating parking.
