The hotel was perfect in my opinion, I really couldn't fault it. Easy to find, easy to park, welcoming staff even at 4 am, good communication, welcoming message on TV as you entered room, lovely furnishings, coffee and tea making facilites with quality coffee bags, hairdryer and even straighteners (I have never seen that before!), fabulous bathroom with Cow Shed products . . . so many thoughtful extras. But the very best thing of all was the divine beds and bedding, absolute bliss. I can't recommend highly enough

The staff was very friendly! Even though they couldn't give us two rooms on request next to each other, (I wasn't really bothered about it)they have upgraded the rooms for the best ones in the new pavilion free of charge.
The comfort of the room is amazing. We stayed only one night but it was really enjoyable.
The hotel is about 20/25 min away from the city centre that's the only downside , but we chose to stay there and it didn't disappoint.
Boasting a garden, The Swan is set in Thornbury and also provides a shared lounge and a bar. The property is situated an 8-minute walk from Thornbury Castle. Every room has a patio with city views.

Hosts could not help enough to the point off giving us lifts to various locations because off the lack off taxis in the village
A 10/10 stay! I loved how the toiletries provided was eco-friendly! I also loved how comfortable and clean the stay was, would of been even better if the water pressure in the shower was stronger but overall the stay was very pleasant and cosy :)

Everything was lovely it’s a beautiful house with history to it.
A nice warm comfortable feeling to the place.
The rooms on the extended part of the house are looking very tired and in need of being refurbished.
There is an Italian Resteraunt attached to the property.
We had breakfast there it was very good.
It’s central to get about plenty of places to eat about a mile away.
