House Arundel is really central in the town but really quiet in the evening
My room was beautifully decorated and the bed incredibly comfortable. Lovely clean, contemporary bathroom with super plush towels.
Teas and coffee in the room with an honesty bar downstairs.
The owners are super-friendly and helpful too.
A wonderful stay!

Hosts were very friendly. Room was lovely .and breakfast was excellent.
The accommodation was pretty and clean. But it was not very close to the castle and cathedral and wifi didn't work, Arundel itself was lovely, the scenery was gorgeous, the castle was eye-popping, the cathedral was beautiful. The people we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Castle Taxi service was good, and there is a quick and easy train on the Southern Railway to London. Arundel Station had a nice waiting room and one of the cleanest public toilets ever! There was a charming walk through the old town, the riverside, etc. Nice food too at the Edible Sandwich.

We didn't visit Arundel itself on this occasion, as we were visiting family in the other direction. However, I have previously visited both the castle and cathedral, which I would strongly recommend.

Arundel is a lovely quiant town, it has an impressive castle & cathedral. It has lots of bars, restaurants & boutique shops. It is small enough to walk around but has plenty to do.
It is in easy reach of Littlehampton, Chichester & Brighton by car.

Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes.
Arundel has some lovely antique shops and cafes. The best breakfast is at The Moathouse just across the bridge. You can walk along Mill Lane to visit Swanbourne Lake, which is free, or the Wildfowl & Wetlands centre. That is free for WWT members but well worth the entry fee if not. A bit further on is The Black Rabbit pub, where you can have a great meal by the river.

Arundel is a really quaint place with a good selection of small shops, pubs and eateries. Juniper's coffee shop & bakery is a must visit. The cinnamon buns are to die for. The Italian restaurant La Campania we highly recommend and the Norfolk Arms a great place to relax and chill. The local architecture and the walk along pass the museum and to the wet land centre really interesting & lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
We arrived a little early but as our room was ready we went straight up into it. The hotel room (16) was large and bright with a double aspect. There was a small sitting area and a large comfortable bed. Although the hotel is on a main road our room was quiet. The property is a short 10 minute walk from Arundel town centre, so once we parked the car there it stayed. There is a bar and a small garden. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room (108) was comfortable, quiet at night, excellent bed, good shower/bath. Arundel is a small town and the hotel is right in the centre. The Castle is two minutes away, if you walk via the car park. The car park was almost full, but we got a spot. £6. We tried the Tap Room, which offered some interesting craft beers, but it wasn't very comfortable/atmospheric. WWT Arundel (wetlands park) is a nice visit, as well.
Private, clean, perfectly appointed, no details left out. The space is great for two people. Having the kitchen was great, especially since the hosts stocked it with essentials. Plus having access to the beautiful flower garden is a great bonus. It is in a quaint little village with a very nice restaurant The George nearby. A visit to nearby Arundel (5 minute drive) to see the castle and visit the shops is a must.
Clean, comfortable, nicely located, easy to get to and park... Hard to think of anything negative at all.
In 2021 we found the usual low-cost hotels fully booked for the Arundel Triathlon weekend, but this apartment fitted our needs on paper despite being more expensive.
Suffice to say that for 2024, we didn't even look elsewhere. And yes, it was every bit as good as we remembered.
Delicious breakfast; very comfortable rooms; privacy as there is a separate entrance to the B&B with interconnecting door to the main house; proximity to Arundel and very friendly and helpful hostess, Alison. I stupidly left some items in the wardrobe and Alison texted to ask if we were still nearby and, if not, offered to parcel post them to me.
Arundel is a beautiful place to visit. The hotel was perfectly placed, the room was a small double, so expectations were met. The small touches make all the difference, dressing gowns, slippers, tea & coffee makings, etc. so many places are cutting back but this hotel made every effort to make us welcome.
Breakfast was exceptional..
The location was ideal for Goodwood Revival and there were several restaurants nearby for dinner. La Campania was excellent. The Black Rabbit, The Swan Hotel and the Chinese restaurant were average.
The kitchen was well equipped, but we had no need to use it except for morning tea as we were out all day every day.
Excellent location, great room with large comfy bed, on-site parking (reserve in advance). Lucie and Iain (the owners) were very friendly and cooked a great breakfast. Excellent value for money and more of hotel quality than a B&B, highly recommended and will certainly stay there again if going to Arundel.
Location really good for what we wanted and within easy reach of Arundel. Good facilities, convenient, clean and great value. Nicely decorated and modern. Couldn't ask for more and the owner was on hand if you needed anything. Will return and this is our second visit
We had a very comfortable stay at the Swan Hotel. Its central location in Arundel was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a wonderful selection of delicious breakfast items every day. Lunch and dinner were also excellent.
Good choice of breakfast. Room clean, warm and bed very comfortable.
Location is great for sightseeing around Arundel.
Good location for restaurants & catching a train and going further afield
location good for my visit to Brighton, bonus was that the Arundel village was lovely!
slightly pricey for this type of hotel but guess it’s peak time.
clean and easy process after a long drive.
Nice hotel with lovely grounds, especially the large patio area.
The room we had was very comfortable, although staring to look atl bit dated and a bit of tlc was needed in the bathroom.
The room was very comfortable ,bright and airy. The breakfast was very good and the service friendly and excellent.
We would recommend this b&b to our friends .
