Here are 7 advantages (see below for disadvantages):
(1) Quiet neighbourhood.
(2) Parking available on the street.
(3) Clean room with private bathroom.
(4) Comfortable bed (I slept well).
(5) The room has a fridge, microwave, kettle and TV.
(6) Self check-in worked well.
(7) The staff responded quickly to my requests and were always very helpful, patient and friendly.
Note: The name Sleep'n'eat can be confusing as breakfast is not offered or included.

We ate at the Berystede Hotel. Good but expensive.
We ate at the Berystede Hotel. Good but expensive. We also ate at Fego on Ascot High Street. On a Sunday morning there was a long queue outside - and no wonder. The food and tea/coffee were excellent and the staff friendly and quick. Thoroughly recommend it.

Ascot is quiet on non horse racing days Shops are few Nearby Windsor is a great place to shop and socialise and visit Good bus service (no 1) to Windsor takes 40 mins or so and leaves from opposite the main entrance to the race course at the hospital entrance

I went there for family reasons and Ascot is a small town...
I went there for family reasons and Ascot is a small town whose main feature is the horse race track which leaves me cold! Its expensive to get to Ascot from the airport (60 GBP by taxi) or around half that by Underground & surface Train but can be fun! For the kid in you there's LegoLand close by and for the history buffs there's Windsor which is beautiful and the castle is magnificent and definitely worth a visit. The shopping isn't too bad either.

We stayed for one night as a birthday treat at the Macdonald Berystede and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. We had dinner in the restaurant and although a reduced menu the choice was fabulous and cooked to perfection. The Breakfast buffet was all cooked well and hot, the eggs were of a great standard. The spa facilities were great and not too crowded, I had a great swim and the hydro pool was a great experience with the really warm water and the rain pouring what a treat.SueUnited Kingdom

The Haven was comfortable with armchairs, a good wall mounted tv, and located within a leafy safe suburb of Sunninghill. Only 5 minutes walk to the restaurants, coffee shops and pubs in Sunninghill. Only 10 minutes drive to Ascot Racecourse and 15 minutes drive to Saville Gardens, part of the Crown Estate and Great Windsor Park. The Haven provides a car parking space for your use during your stay.
