Breakfast was fab, evening meal was very good, we booked because of the reviews. But most of all the cabin was just what we wanted. As there's 3 of us it's difficult to get an adequate room, but the cabin suited us right down to the ground. And the locals made us so welcome, we will definitely be back. Thank you all 👍

I've stayed here a number of times before - this time unfortunately it was to attend the funeral of my niece.
The White Hart also accomodated the wake after the funeral, and it was well catered and met all our needs.
There is plenty of parking, and the bedrooms are located in a 2-storey block away from the main pub, which ensured a good night's sleep
The White Horse is one of Britain's oldest inns and has tasty food, good rooms and a traditional pub. It is ideal for walks on White Horse Hill and The Ridgeway.
Great location for Swindon. The evening meal and breakfast was delicious and cooked to an excellent standard. All the staff we met were attentive, looked clean and tidy and presented a nice atmosphere. Our room was clean The pub and the village of Ashbury is very quaint. Good parking facilities.

Lovely pub hotel in a very quiet hamlet. Rooms were beautifully presented with very comfortable beds for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, as was dinner the night before. Would highly recommend for a very quiet weekend, which is exactly what we wanted!
