Very quaint, pretty English village, with some very old buildings. A local feel to the place - everyone seems to know each other. Not great if you like shopping - or if you forget something from the supermarket as there's only one shop. Three good pubs, nice food.

A lovely location the cabin was second to none.
A lovely location the cabin was second to none. Very comfortable and spotless,everything you could possibly want, The patio outside was lovely to look at the birds of which there were many. They had ensuite in both room, one with a shower and the other a bath. So did not want to leaveSueUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10
Ashover is ideally located for visits to Eyam plague village...
Ashover is ideally located for visits to Eyam plague village, Hardwick Hall and several industrial heritage sites. I can recommend the Gate Inn for evening meals, but there are several more local eateries recommended by the owners of the B&B we stayed in.
