The breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful, location was excellent. Transport wise you have car pick ups located at the airport and you now also have the rail network. This gives access to Inverness and other places.

Loved the view from our room. This was our first stop on NC500 trip and it is ideally located for that - either at start or finish! Cosy restaurant and I had my favourite meal of the entire holiday here- beautifully cooked venison with interesting vegetables- superb flavours. Breakfast good too. Staff genuinely friendly and professional.

Lovely quiet location… The room was well furnished with lounge, comfortable beds and ensuite.
Tea and coffee and biscuit provisions were an appreciated and in hall could be replenished.
Shower mat provided was great as the shower floor was slippery.
Great communication telling us to eat in Inverness as no restaurants were currently viable.
Wifi easy to connect and decent connection.
Hostess was very friendly.
Breakfast of an excellent standard and the choice of Hot or continental both very large.
A very short walk to airport bus
It's a beautiful village. We saw dolphins in the Moray Firth from the breakfast room at our B&B! The harbour is nice and an excellent dolphin boat trip leaves from there. The only downside was that there is no pub, and there aren't many taxi companies, which means one of you may end up as the designated driver a lot of the time.
The location, not far from Inverness, in the small town of Avoch was very good with a view over the harbour (where we had great fun fishing for crabs and hired one of the boats to take us into the bay to Dolphin watch!) and the beach. The only slight downside was, over the road was parked an old camper van and the public convenience. It is worth mentioning that the PC was clean, newly painted and not often frequented. Plus, the upstairs accommodation which we rented looked well over the top of the PC so our view was not disturbed.
We did not have a set breakfast but everything we needed was there on arrival. Milk, bread, butter, eggs, sugar, tea bags, coffee etc. Also included in the welcome pack we had a bottle of fizzy wine and happy chappy, both very enjoyable especially after a long walk over the old railway line from Avoch to the next village. Definitely managed our 10,000 steps that day. The weather was glorious and our Cocker Spaniel had a ball on all the beaches near and far. Definitely worth another visit.😍🤗

The apartment is amazing! It was very clean and it was really big with a nice little games area for the kids with a range of toys and games! It was perfect place for 2 families to stay. The children's play park and tennis courts out the back were amazing, a wee walk down to an adorable little beach and harbour. Avoch is a beautiful little place and the wild cat apartment was perfect!
The breakfast was wonderful - fresh fruit, home made bread, interesting selection of cooked items. The conservatory and garden were lovely. We particularly appreciated being offered coffee and home-made scones on arrival. Avoch has no sit-in restaurants but guests can bring back their takeaways and eat them in the conservatory, with cutlery etc provided by the hosts.
Very comfortable and well-located apartment directly opposite the small harbour in Avoch.
It was a very handy place to explore the Black Isle from. What struck us were the 'extras' like the generous welcome pack, kids' toys and great selection of books and DVDs. A really nice place to enjoy our first post-lockdown holiday. Thank you Andrew and Lee!
This lovely property is so ideally located at the harbour entrance. It has stunning views that you can see from the window seat. Avoch is a busy wee village during the day but very peaceful at night time.
You can see dolphins at Chanory point just up the road. We took a boat trip out to see them and this can be organised just across the road.
Val & Chris are lovely generous hosts, and their hotel is comfortable and spotless clean. Excellent breakfast (we loved the rhubarb compote, the homemade brown bread and the egg dishes), comfy beds and large showercabin. Nice to have organic bath products.
They have a beautiful large terraced garden with a view on the sea:)
Very cute little town close to Inverness. The room was very comfortable and had everything you need and more. Rachael is a very kind host and it’s nice to stay at a place like hers compared to a hotel chain
Location is superb, overlooking the harbour and the Moray Firth. Easy access to Inverness. 2min walk to chippy and takeaways. 5min drive to lovely pub gtub in Munlochy. No actual pub in Avoch, however.
Conveniently situated in center of Avoch, with parking nearby. I appreciated the snacks which were almost sufficient for breakfast which was not included.
