The staff were amazing, couldn’t be more helpful. I needed to extend my parking because of the event I was attending, which was not a problem at all.
The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy I had a great nights sleep!

Don't be put off by the area. A few bars for food and drink. It's a perfect base to stay, a short drive to the beautiful lake district and a short trip to the south lakes zoo. Secure parking and a lovely room to relax after your trips out

Lovely area would suit most people.
Lovely area would suit most people. There are hidden gems if you like to explore. Plenty of shopping facilities. Easy to eat out at reasonable prices. The roads are clearly signed and easy to navigate. A great base for either staying in Barrow-in=Furness or travelling around the lakes daily.
A quiet holiday to extreme adventures, your choice is within the Lake District.

Hotel does not provide value for money, much better hotels available for cheaper price. Pockets of good/excellence from staff, but major improvements required in the hospitality food preparation particularly for breakfast, which was extremely dissappointing. Generally, grounds are okay but nothing particularly special, the description and photos, do not accurately reflect the experience.
Would not take much to improve all round, as a number of staff were very nice and supportive.

This place has a really negative aura.
This place has a really negative aura. I can't even explain why but I was anxious while there. We should have booked a stay much closer to the Lakes or at least in Ulverston that is just a stone's throw away.

Easy to navigate around lots of tourist attractions and great for disabled travellers Lots of places to eat Hotel was well situated just out of town centre
Very busy on a Saturday in the town centre rather loud so avoid if you don't like hen and stag nights overall a lovely break away

The hosts were lovely. Very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Have us choice of two rooms. One bigger but across the hall for bathroom, one smallest but next to beautiful large bathroom. The decor and feel of this hotel was stunning. And just as we were leaving, we found out they have a swimming pool under renovation. It's a very deceiving property like a TARDIS, but without the Dr Who 😂 will definitely return. Such a wonderful relaxing time. There is even a fridge in the rooms too.
very nice setting, remote and peaceful but still close enough to Barrow.
Staff very extremely helpful and polite, could not do enough for me during my stay.
food was very nice, varied menu and thoroughly enjoyed each meal I had, at a very decent price.
room was large and spacious, with modern decor and a comfortable bed.
Will use this hotel as my regular stay for work and cannot recommend highly enough.
Clean, close to everything I needed in Barrow, convenient parking, great communication from staff. Loved the wall mounted TVs especially in the bedrooms. WiFi was fast. All in all much more comfortable and spacious than a hotel. Will definitely come back, couldn't recommend it more
Whole hotel and restaurant looked like it had just been re-furbished. Very quick check in and you couldnt be more central in barrow. We had pre-paid for 2 breakfasts each and these were brought up to the room on our first night to stay in the fridge for us.
Positives: Lovely staff who couldn’t be more helpful. The location of the hotel itself in relation to the town centre. Reasonable price for the room. The room itself was on the whole fine. The windows needed replacing as the frames were rotten.
The room in the annex part of building was excellent. Breakfast was good . Evening dinner was not available during our stay.
Hotel was very central for visit to Barrow in Furness and also travelling to the other parts of the Lake District
The room was ideal and the shower was superb. Great communication from the hotel so I could collect my access card when arriving during the Bank Holiday. Really friendly and helpful staff member on reception during my stay.
The cooked breakfast was excellent.
This hotel is in a good place for touring the south west area of Cumbria. It is a good 35 minute walk into Barrow but there is a regular bus service that stops right outside the hotel
It’s a good price and only a short walk from station and good location for shops and bars etc room was comfy and clean as well , barrow is a handy base for Cumbria as I visited several lovely places on the rail route .
Great Friendly- polite Staff, Location, clean tidy room. Unbelievably cheap Price. Simply Great.... Simply Great. I will book again and will refer all my family- Friends. Thanks
Very nice and friendly hotel. Large and clean room;) free wifi and tv;) Quiet neighborhood. English breakfast the best! Thank you for everything. RECOMMEND ! ☆☆☆☆☆
Great hotel, newly refurbished in a central location. Easy access to the nature reserves on Walney Island, Cumbrian coastal towns and the Southern Lakes.
