We have attended two beautiful weddings here and booked to stay with our dogs for our 20th wedding anniversary. The location is perfect for us not too far away the grounds and views are absolutely stunning . The food was excellent the staff friendly and the room very comfortable. We will definitely visit again .

When we arrived our room smelt musty and dirty then we couldn’t get the electric to work apparently our room is renowned for this and there is a knack for wiggling the fitting. Then we had no hot water. The basin unit was damp and rotting from the bottom. For the money we paid a very sub standard room

Comfortable stay in a characterful hotel in a beautiful location. Very friendly staff, with large rooms and super comfy beds. Nice and warm room and good hot water in the shower. Lighting was dim in the main room but bright in the bathroom. Only one plug socket, away from bed. Bathroom could do with a bit of tlc but clean and tidy.

Saddened the Italian menu has changed not rack of lamb on the menu, mother in law only got 2 baby potatoes on her meal, charged different prices at the bar through our stay ranging from 9 pounds to 20 pounds for the same drinks, pubic hairs in the bath, no night time entertainment very disappointed as we have been come to guys for over 15 yrs .Lindsey kateUnited Kingdom

The slats on the venetian blind were taped together with sellotape. The lavatory wouldn't flush, the vent on the wall above the lavatory was covered in dust, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. To make things worse, the shower plug was blocked and the water was unable to drain away.
