Good Location with lively view and well heated. Was nice to turn up to a warm home especially with a baby. Easy to use the heating system. Property owner answered questions I had quickly they were very friendly and helpful. Had plenty of bedding options towels and some toiletries. WiFi was good and tv options with Netflix and YouTube etc.

The staff were excellent, cleanliness very good. Slept very well in the comfortable bed. Evening meal very nice, breakfast ok. However the hotel bedroom was looking slightly tired and the furniture needs upgrading. Overall good stay.

The staff, facilities, pool and food were great. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It is outside the bustle of the city and the views were amazing. We were made feel very welcome and really enjoyed our stay.

Batley is the nightlife centre of West Yorkshire.
Batley is the nightlife centre of West Yorkshire. Although the world famous Frontier Club is sadly no more there are plenty of places on the strip to visit. Yes it is cheesy but sometimes cheese is a good thing, particularly on chips. And for those wanting a bit of retail therapy there are some great home furnishing shops including the Red Brick Mill which is, apparently, one of the best home stores outside London including Heal’s, Made.com, BoConcept, Hülsta, Natuzzi, Calligaris and Sofas & Stuff.

I was born in Batley and spent many a year roaming over the area which had beautiful fields and was a kids paradise but it has changed from what it was to what it is now. It is now built up a great deal and the old markets have gone a lot of places have closed now for the sake of modernization

Typical West Yorkshire town with better facilities than I remember. Cheap fuel; lots of inexpensive, good quality food and drink. Wilton Park with childrens playground, lake with ducks and nice gardens. No parking cost.
I recommend the Liversedge Hotel in Heckmondwike for good beer, very good Pub Food at reasonable prices and you'll be stuffed when you leave!
Excellent Fish & chips everywhere.
Since my last visit before lockdown the hotel seems to have improved. At first I was a little apprehensive of returning but the room that I stayed in last time has been redecorated and modernised .I was given a better standard of room than requested which was very pleasing .The staff on the reception was also polite and courteous even though I checked in at nearly midnight and was exhausted and crabby with myself .
Breakfast the following morning gave me a good start to the day . I will definitely come back again .
Convenient location for Batley, I knew the area well has I had lived in the area for twenty years and I returned to attend the funeral of my younger brother. The staff were friendly and pleasant and the room in general was OK but lacked attention to detail i.e. dusty ledges, no toilet brush provided,
Great location. Lovely grounds. Plenty of parking. Dawn is a great asset to the hotel. She is extremely thoughtful, helpful and very accommodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Nice independent hotel ideal for a night out in Batley. Very friendly and helpful staff and we enjoyed staying at the Healey House. The room was clean and quiet and nice bar area and dining room too.
