Really friendly place. Food is absolutely fantastic. Comfy room. Great atmosphere in the pub in the evening and kids were allowed until 9. The building itself is really nice too. We have already planned to come back next year!

Good location, clean and plenty of parking spaces.
Food was all good and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
Unfortunately, the negatives massively outweigh the positives.

Breakfast was very disappointing with regards to what was on...
Breakfast was very disappointing with regards to what was on offer. A buffet style breakfast should have everything available for guests. Only scrambled eggs available so had to find someone to ask for a fried egg. Took a long time to come and rest of food was cold by then. Sausages, potato scones bacon were half the size of standard ones. Not worth the money and could have got a much better breakfast elsewhere at a more reasonable price. I look forward to a good breakfast after a stay and expected this hotel to be of the same standard as orevious doubletree hotels I have stayed in.

Breakfast 0/10 it’s not available as advertised when booking
Would not recommend this as a quiet or work option the pub/ function suite downstairs has people outside smoking and the noise is disturbing but I suppose for a Saturday night above a function suite you need to expect it… noise still going on at 1am… highly recommend the hotel if the windows were double glazed and if you’re drinking I’m sure you’d be immune to the racket from the pub and main road traffic. On the plus side room was homely and spotless (except for the beading on doors and skirtings) a lot of recycling would be required due to one use shampoo body wash conditioner etc but 10/10 for supplying extras on an £85 room… was still awake at 7am due to concrete mattress and was so looking forward to a lovely breakfast as advertised… waited for restaurant to open at 10am… 10.25am restaurant still closed. Phoned the contact in the info pack (Kenny) obviously woke the poor guy who informed us they don’t open till 12? Went to cafe on Main St had a great breakfast but hotel needs a website update to stop staff getting calls for a breakfast service they do not provide. Great stopover if you’re drunk and deaf but to be fair the room was lovely and clean with a few exceptions

Completely unsuitable bed for an adult, staff even admitted...
Completely unsuitable bed for an adult, staff even admitted that, still didn't do anything about it so zero sleep. We booked a twin Queen room and were given a family room with sofa bed unfit for kids never mind adults, felt every spring, no one wearing masks or social distancing and no sanitiser at lifts etc. Really didn't enjoy our stay apart from the pool which was very busy too even at 9am on a sunday morning.

The noise!!!!!
The noise!!!!! This is described as a hotel but it is in reality 4 rooms on top of a bar/restaurant/ nightclub. Loud music till nearly 1am and just as noisy club goers doing what they do at turf out. The 'hotel' was on a busy road so more noise. We didn't get breakfast despite being told it would be available as the cleaners were in at the time we wanted it. We were not given a receipt for our money paid in cash. I complained but ten days later have not had a reply
At 22:30 on Saturday drunken guests began blasting music and arguing in the hall way. Night Manager Stuart immediately came up and was very assertive but sadly it fell on death ears. Half an hour later i requested to move rooms and Stuart plus another sorted a room out within minutes. Turns out, on booking i was placed in the middle of a 40th birthday party. Not ideal but the hotel handled it very well. The receptionist in the morning was very good to and couldn't do enough to apologies.
I came for my friends wedding and it was a brilliant day. All the staff were very helpful and the wedding meal was very good. I have allergies and intolerances and both were catered for. The lady in charge of where plates went was very good at ensuring I got the correct meal. Breakfast the next morning was very impressive, lots of choice and very fresh. Massive TV and tea/coffee facilities. I used the swimming pool, this was a lovely added benefit of the hotel .
It was ideally located for our stay, with car parking available. The room was very well appointed and all facilities were modern and in perfect working order… the shower was amazing!! It was spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and were there if we needed them. We ate in the bar one evening and the food was tasty and very good value. Thanks Bellmill Hotel!
perfect location in centre of Bellshill and the car park to the rear of the property was handy.
I especially liked the food that was left for us fresh bread, butter and milk perfect for our first morning’s breakfast, meant no hassle of organising breakfast
Room was great and extremely clean, bed was comfortable and.
Made use of the pool facilities and these were nice too.
Staff were excellent and extremely helpful.
The food was great too, we had breakfast and dinner in the hotel and both were great.
Decent location, great property with free parking in front of the hotel.
Good breakfast and dining options which was slightly overpriced.
Overall the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. They also provided us with a baby cot.
Right next to the train station, but you can‘t hear the trains. You may hear a bit from the bar next to the hotel, but if you‘re not a light sleeper you have nothing to worry about. The staff is really helpful and friendly.
Quiet room, big bathtub , blow away by the breakfast choices & the leisure centre was brilliant! Lots of areas to relax at hotel & enjoyed light bites with family that I was visiting there. Loved the water refills
Very friendly staff, rooms very comfortable, shower was excellent, able to come and go via separate door to rest of restaurant/pub, very high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
very very very hard to find the hotel
GPS location is not correct !! the signs for hotel are terrible it took me 40 mins to find the entrance and that was the back entrance by chance !!
from entry into hotel, staff were very attentive and help from check inn to our room. the staff throughout the hotel were brilliant and couldn’t be more helpful. best hotel break so far
