Location is excellent for countryside and coast. Cafe, restaurant, shop, butcher, fishmonger on site.
There are lots of other attractions on site, e.g mini-golf (very entertaining), mini farm, inflatable play, alpaca walks - especially for kids.

We had a fantastic time!
A beautiful home, a breathtaking interior, a delicious breakfast and last but not least Kat and Spencer!
We received a very warm welcome and immediately felt at home! The nice chats, the funny jokes, the delicious food, ... what more could you want!
All four of us agreed: this is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Keep up the good work!

I was visiting family and friends but there is plenty to do if it is purely a holiday. Public transport is good to all areas. Broadstairs is nearby and has many eating places, Minnie Bay in Birchington has seafront restaurant and bar. There is shopping at Westwood Cross, numerous takeaway options with delivery, best fish and chips at Fishbone Grill just as you come into Birchington. There are many beaches around the coast but do check which ones have doggie restrictions from May . RAF museum is worth a visit as is the spitfire museum. Eating places there too.

Such a beautiful place, plenty to do, loads of beautiful beaches, places of interest to see. We went everywhere by bus, we brought a day rider ticket for £4.50 and that allowed us to travel all day. We had a fabulous time.

Birchington is a nice little town with all the shops and supermarkets you could possibly need. The people were very friendly too!
Good place as a base too in order to explore other beaches and towns.

I know Birchington very well, as my sister lives there and I visit her regularly. Lots of shops and eating places, and an ideal location for visiting Canterbury, Margate, Ramsgate and Westwood Cross which is a lovely shopping centre
This was our second stay at Twentieth Century B&B, it was once again exceptional! Kat and Spencer are so welcoming and the breakfast is spot on (highly recommend the vegan pancakes). We were in the David Bowie room which was great fun to stay in, having a shower with Bowie next to you was an experience! Birchington and the wider area is lovely, it's easy to get to more popular towns like Margate or to get out into nature at places like Stodmarsh or Pegwell Bay. We are already planning our return trip
Neil and Marilyn are great hosts and make you feel very welcome. The breakfast was wonderful and very well presented. The location was perfect for us as just 2 stops on the train to Margate to go to restaurant and/or bars. Or a 10 minute walk to the high street of Birchington, as well as the esplanade along the front.
The views from the rooms are fantastic, just a shame for us that the big room was already booked with the panoramic view. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again.
Great location in walking distance to Birchington town centre. Reason for my stay was I was visiting my Nan and I brought my boyfriend this time so we decided to book a b n b. Once we left we said this will be our go to b n b when we visit again. House was very relaxed and welcomed warmly. A continental breakfast was provided with nice juices, crumpets with cheese and ham and fresh fruit. For the price we paid we could not fault it. Comfortable bed and quite location. We will be back : )
We only liked going to Broadstairs via cab as the Birchington Vale Holiday Park where we stayed at camping pod felt like we were staying on a building site and looked more like a council estate resort park!!
So our places of interest into town and the beaches in Broadstairs, Ramsgate, and Westgate were more welcoming and interesting to visit and see than the resort we were sadly staying at!!
The room was great, bright and clean with a wet room shower. Very comfortable bed. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful making the stay a nice relaxed visit to Birchington. On site parking was handy.
The breakfast was a great start to the day being made with quality products and freshly cooked.
Will be more than happy to stay at the Waves again
Always little sceptical staying in rooms above pubs but the Powell Hotel is an excellent choice for accommodation in Margate. Only 10 mins cab fare from heart of Margate. Pub has excellent decor and although didn’t get to enjoy an evening in the pub (closed due to staff shortage), will definitely return when I return to Margate
Brilliant, clean, well equipped, roomy. I don't think the pictures on bookings.com does it justice. Stones throw from Birchington beach however better beaches to be found a short drive away in Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs. Would highly recommend.
Great location: car parking very close to the hotel and at a reasonable price, railway station 5 minutes walk.
Comfortable, quiet room with good bathroom.
Food good and well priced.
Clean and comfortable with lots of nice little touches such as milk and cereal on arrival, plus tea and coffee. Margate and Birchington only minutes away by car.
