It was January when we stayed there for our wedding anniversary. We payed for a standard room which was OK and had all we expected but the radiator wasn't working so the manager gave us an upgrade to one with a working radiator. The room was a much bigger room with everything working well including the radiators. The bed was fantastic as was the room so grateful thanks to the Trouville hotel. Only one down side was the hotel restaurant was closed in the evening so we had to eat out but there are plenty of eating places within walking distance.
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. This is not a scam post iit is genuine and sincere. The hotel charged us an additional £12 for parking that was not apparent at the time of booking. We were charged £50 as a deposit for damages. This was not apparent at the time of booking either so in all a £32 n ight stay turned into a Freezing cold draughty gappy windowed tiny duvet and no extra blankets OR breakfast available as advertised on the website stay for £94:00. £32 jumped to £94 when we got there and the staff were sarchastic and offensive and attackingly defensive.
We enjoyed the seafront and walking was an easy option. Hotel based almost central to both Boscombe and Bournemouth piers. The area around the pier at Bournemouth had plenty to do and a nice gardens to walk through. Unfortunately there are alot of empty shops
Bournemouth used to be a place where one could go for a restful holiday. Now it is a bustling place with visitors plying for spaces on the beach. Plenty of accomodations available in all areas. Locations of interest easily attainable by walking or by bus, (use the daily bus ticket for convivence). Try and get out of the town and enjoy the surrounding countryside. West is the Jurassic coast and east is the New Forest. North is Stonehenge. Plenty to do.
Bournemouth has everything for a short break and was really Christmassy with the market and the Christmas tree illuminations. Very expensive for food and drink though and I would imagine if you were there for more than a couple of days with children, this would be an issue
Bournemouth has so much to offer beautiful beaches lovely gardens band stands . AND.................. THEN nothing in the town . Its a dump. No shops as such DEBENHAM. HOUSE OF FRAZER BEALS, All gone no Marks and Spencer. No next . Ect very sad .
I thought I was booking a hotel, rather than a room in a lodge, but that was fine. The room was clean, reception staff helpful, we didn't use house keeping but asked for extra milk and coffee from reception and that was no problem. We ate several times in the club house in the evening, not a really varied menu but good food cooked well and suited us fine. The pool was lovely, quiet when we used it. And about a half an hour walk into town/the beach. Okay to walk there but taxied back as it would have been all up hill!
This is probably one of the best hotel in Bournemouth for a relaxing getaway! The room is nice and cozy with air conditioner and has all that you need! The best part about this hotel is the facilities i.e. swimming pool, Gym, Steam room, Jacuzzi and Sauna. They are all maintained to perfection and staff is quite polite and helpful. Moreover, the hotel offers SPA treatments which are quite professional and soothing! Would definitely make an effort to visit again. Highly recommend this to everyone visiting Bournemouth.
I checked in the hotel, and was told the bar was not open, the restaurant was not open and the pool was also closed. I was in a single room on the 3rd floor 110, the wall paper was coming off the walls, the noise from the seagulls was horrific and woke me up at 4.30 am, my room was so hot and the bed was about 40 years old. In summary this hotel made faulty towers look like a 5 star resort and I will not be staying here ever again, the one thing I will say is that the rate was cheap through booking.com
The staff are very welcoming and the covid 19 regulations in place are brilliant. Overall the stay was fantastic I had booked 2 rooms one was a small double and the other was a standard double and the rooms were perfect, clean and lovely facilities will definitely be using this hotel again as it was 100 % better than our previous stay at the royal bath hotel in Bournemouth
The breakfast was good, the customer service was excellent, and they always went above and beyond to help us. The room had a lot of natural light and could be easily blocked if needed. The kettle station provided was very useful and a nice comfort for the room. the location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance to the beach and to the town centre making travel easy.
all staff were so friendly and attentive. our room, called bay, was stunning and had a roll top bath which was such a nice touch . the location was great being 10-15 mins walk to the centre and 5 mins to the beach. it is a little more expensive than other Bournemouth hotels but well worth every penny!
The view from our room, all along Bournemouth beach, in either direction, was spectacular. Sadly, there wasn't much else to praise. There's even an old swimming pool at the front of the hotel, no longer in use, but still full of dirty water. No excuse, for such a big company as Best Western.
As a regular to Bournemouth I can say this hotel is fab! Near to the beach & bus stop. The pier is around 7-10 minutes walk away. Our room was huge & clean with tv, towels, hair body wash, tea/coffee. There is a bar and restaurant. Parking is £5 for 24 hours. Lovely overall.
Good, comfortable clean rooms - double very spacious and nice decor and small double fine. Location near to beach and centre of Bournemouth if you're happy to walk or bus stop outside hotel. Parking at hotel available for £10. Had a nice time here.
The proximity to the beach, cleanliness of rooms and other facilities. Kind staff and good prices in the restaurant. We enjoyed our breakfast there too and we were able to park our car right outside the hotel for £4 per 24 hours.
Bournemouth
Staff were friendly. The first room we were given was a bit small but we asked for a larger room and we were given one with no problems. Nice clean hotel in a good location. Very convenient if you want to visit the beach.
The only advantage of staying at this hotel is the proximity to the beach - but you can get a much better quality of hotel with similar access to Bournemouth beach front for a similar price.
Great location, easy walk to the beach or city center, quiet, breakfast was wonderful at their sister hotel across the street, fun to stay at Lillie Langtry's home
Great stay, friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds and the bathroom had a lovely shower. Close to town and beach. Highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was good The hotel is quite a walk from the city centre but close to the Undercliff walk both to Boscombe and to Bournemouth
Did not eat there, rooms always clean,I will always choose royal bath hotel when I visit Bournemouth
