Lovely, warm welcome with home baking and tea very much appreciated. Sarah and Al couldn't have been nicer or better hosts. They were so kind, generous, attentive and helpful. Nothing was a bother to them. Breakfasts prepared and served with care and attention to detail. Whole atmosphere in the house was lovely.

The lovely little pods were a calming and cosy place to stay. The bathrooms are spacious and were kept really clean and warm, so was the Snug cottage. You have to be prepared to walk outside your little hut whenever you need something so some easy to put on shoes are a good idea.
The owners are really nice and helpful whenever you need something. You can really see the care and thought they put it the accommodation. Overall it was an incredibly good value for the money and we would 100% recommend it.

This former church has been tastefully converted, enabling retention of the original features. Auld Kirk Hotel is situated in the heart of picturesque Royal Deeside.
Gulabin Lodge nestles beneath the mighty Ben Gulabin in the south of the Cairngorms National Park. The property offers stunning views of the glen and surrounding mountains.
Lovely village with interesting shops,. We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Farquharsons which we rated as the best meaL of our holiday and there was a good lively atmosphere in the bar/restaurant, with friendly staff. Easy access to countryside rides.

Braemar is in Royal Deeside.
Braemar is in Royal Deeside. It is a small, picturesque village loved by walkers and tourists alike. Rightly proud of its history and royal connections.. it has lots to offer. It is the gateway to the Cairngorms, quaint local gift shops and lovely restaurants and bars. You can choose then to take the scenic route over the hills to Perth via Glenshee ( take a tour of the local gin distillery at Persie ) or take the coast road via Ballater, Aboyne and Banchory to the city of Aberdeen. We certainly enjoyed our visit and plan to return next year.

Best food and pub for me was Moorfield House Hotel. A little tucked away but worth the effort.
Loads of walking from local strolls to mammoth Munro hikes.
The countryside and wildlife is fantastic.
Honestly…as B&Bs go, they don’t get much better. Everything about the place was so well thought out that every expectation was met. From the warm welcome, to the cleanliness of the room and comfiness of the bed to the little personal touches and the wonderful breakfast. It’s right in the centre of Braemar too! Would definitely return.
The location was ideal, just on the outstirts of Braemar, very quiet but easy walking distance of town centre.
The facilities were good, comfortable and very clean.
The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, perfect for the morning after watching England beat Germany.
Simply stunning property. A brilliant place to base yourself, a great central location in Braemar.
Everything inside the property was of the highest standard & it was just excellent all round.
The hammock in the private garden was a nice spot to chill in the evening too.
The lodges are well laid out and and exceptionally comfy. The location is excellent and only a few minutes walk from the centre of Braemar. The owner is very welcoming and all communication was clear and straightforward.
Everything was great, owner and his son run this hotel on their own and they really are great and generous people! All the other stuff is great as well and are there for you the whole stay. Just perfect, really!
Cosy warm room with huge comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great breakfast. Lovely location on edge of village - pubs a restaurants just a short walk away
Sadly 24 hours after we left, this lovey hotel burned to the ground.
Further comments would be pointless.
Best wishes and good luck to the owner Malcom and his family.
