We had an exceptional stay at Killean Farmhouse. It is a short drive out of Inverary but feels beautifully remote. The room was the nicest we stayed in during our trip in Scotland, very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast in the morning was great with a very nice porridge. The team running it were very warm and helpful. We loved it.

Nice location. Good food. Could do with a bit of an update in the decor
Eredine is a small village, very remote. The main attraction is the peace and quiet, very suitable for people with busy lives who want a complete break from pressure.. The visitor needs to be a walker or cyclist to appreciate the area which is very scenic, or someone who likes to explore historic sites. The loch-side picnic sites are beautiful and usually without other visitors. The cottage is self-catering, which is just as well, because I didn't see anywhere to eat out within a 10 mile radius! The visitor needs to come prepared with groceries because there are no local shops! The falconry located in the village is a fascinating, with a large variety of local Scottish raptors on display.
