Lovely beer garden and play area for children. Rooms were a nice size, and welcoming. large shower head and food was lovely. Side entrance to the bedrooms when the pub was closed. Lovely original feature beams. Large selection of meals and snacks on the menu. Allowed dogs to stay which is important for us when we travel and there was only an extra £10 charge for the dog. Rooms were soundproof which was nice because you had no interruption from people moving around or talking in other rooms.

Bream well placed to explore the Forest of Dean and surrounding area, whether you're walking, driving or cycling. Beechenhurst Sculpture Trail worth a visit, recommend breakfast in the cafe. Chepstow and the castle worth visiting. Good walks around Nags Head Nature Reserve. Miners Arms in Whitecroft, good real ales and a garden to sit in. Coffee shop in Bream, very welcoming too. Loved the sheep roaming around the village

Bream is not an attractive village.

Bream is not an attractive village. It has some shops, but no large supermarket. Shopping is in Lydney. There's not much to do in the village, but it is well located for the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.

visited during storm dennis so a short trip was enough! It was just me and my 6 year old and we dont mind a bit of rain however. In better or just generally dryer weather you could stay for much longer as there is so much to do! Would come back
