Brighton and Hove is a really anything goes kinda place, with a laid back atmosphere but there is always something going on. Lots of places to eat, great shopping, the lanes are great and you can spend hours bimbling through and stopping off for coffee and cake as well..!! What's not to love
There wasn’t plenty of gluten free places which is a shame but the restaurants was close to our accommodation. Just don’t stay at the heart of Brighton studio. Ended up not sleeping and cutting our holiday short. No refund despite we left due to how disgusting the room was.
Brighton and Hove is lovely. Lots to do or not do depending on what you desire. Having great weather helped. My only comment would be that whilst I had a bath in my room (which for me is far more suitable than a shower) Considering I was in a Kings Size room - the bath was Tiny. To lie back and put my shoulders under water involved me having to have my legs vertical in the air. I have no ide how a King Sized person would even get in or out of the bath provided.
This is a beautiful place to visit. The beach is clean though not sandy. It has pebbles but that does not deter the enjoyment. There are eateries all along and the food is delicious. British Airways 360 degrees is a must. The station is about 11 minutes by bus. One feels happy and relaxed in such surroundings.
I found Brighton to be a lively city but what I loved most about it is that I found the people to be more warm and welcoming. The city is very abuzz and there is a lot to do even with just only visiting the beach. Loved shopping there with lots of Charity shops found in the city centre.
Brighton is not flat, be prepared for some hills. There's a great mix of environments, one minute you're in a grubby back street but then turn a corner and enter a wonderful urban and cosmopolitan street culture with an extensive and wide variety of shops, cafes, pubs and entertainment. Crossing major roads at lights is painfully slow. The traffic remains halted but the pedestrian lights remain on red. Two weeks after Easter and we ventured onto the pier to discover it was as if we'd travelled down in the off season. Town was much more vibrant.
Hotel staff are fantastic best i have experienced so far, and i have stayed in quite few hotels in Brighton, they are so helpful and cheerful, nothing was too much trouble. We ordered room service and food was good and delivered with a smile. The rooms although dated are very clean. And the beds are so comfortable. Bedding was lovely white thick cotton clean along with the pillows. Lots clean soft towels and room has an iron and board. Hotel is in a great location for Town centre, The Lanes and seafront. We will definitely visit again. 🙂
Kemptown, Brighton & Hove
Great location for Beach front, pier and The Lanes. Unusual and veggie places to dine right on the doorstep. Hotel lovely and clean with breakfast served in the room due to covid, good choice and good quality. Used the spa for a neck/shoulder massage which was excellent and also had a relax in the hot tub. Lovely spa beautifully done. Parking was not an issue in the nearby streets with a daily parking permit.
Cheap and cheerful. The location was really convenient for the beach, train station and royal pavilion. Also near the town centre and bus routes to the marina. I stayed in a family room 2 adults 2 kids and the size of room was fine. The hotel is a little old and creaky but nothing to really complain about. Staff let us check in early which was very helpful. We had a partial sea view from the window which was nice.
The location was nice because it is near to the sea front and it is a nice walk into Brighton. Also there were rent a bikes right at the seat front opposite the hotel which are cheap and quicker for u to get into Brighton. The whole room was very clean and all the staff were very nice, kind and talkative. The beds were super comfy and the shower was the perfect size. Definitely would stay again!
Kemptown, Brighton & Hove
everything about this boutique hotel is amazing. I’ve never seen staff so personable, friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. They helped us get our luggage downstairs to our room, recommended restaurants, served a great breakfast and more. our room was very comfortable as were the beds. in a month of staying in hotels in England, both large and small, this was by far my favorite.
A beautiful property with fantastic staff. Special thanks to Spencer and the amazing concierge team from the second we arrived they were so helpful, friendly and professional. And the staff in the restaurant were so lovely and accommodating. One of the best combinations of staff and hotel’s you could find.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, local stores and the railway station. The room was comfortable and fairly clean. The buffet has several options for breakfast, baked beans, sausages, scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes, ham, cereals, muffins, cheese and juice.
Location of hotel is great for everything. Breakfast was good, apart from dining room & self service area was a bit manic. It would be better if the self service area had a one way system. Room with balcony was really nice the little extras were a nice surprise and very much appreciated.
All about the good location. Near the beach and shops and restaurants and cafes. Can't ask more. The hotel room is small but enough for a short staying got everything you need and well prepared for the coming guests. we will definitely come back to Brighton to stay in this hotel again.
This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at whilst visiting Brighton (there have been a few as I travel down weekly). I stayed in the single bedroom, it was spacious, very clean, great location in Kemptown. Will definitely be staying there again!!!
We had a good week end in Brighton despite the weather. The hotel is in a very good location near the beach and the main attractions. Breakfast was really good and our host Oscar was very friendly and hepful.
Brighton & Hove
The room was very clean and exceeded our expectations. The location of the hotel was perfect for anywhere you needed to go in Brighton. It was ideal that the hotel was near the pier and local bars.
Lovely boutigue hotel with a great location near the lanes, beach, pier and just brighton in general. Walking distance from the train station
Convenient location, close to pier and Royal Pavillion; parking in car park under the hotel; bag storage prior to check in; good size room.
Location staff and room. Hotel is near the station about 15mins walk to the beach . 2mins from station
Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Nice views of the sea.
Amazing location and excellent hotel.
Lovely room, exceptional view, full sky channels which is a rarity, lots of nice touches in general
though of everything all the little things such as drinks into her room. beds super comfy, spa was amazing
Location awesome, staff friendly and helpful.
