We have visited the area for the last few years and this is definitely the best property we have stayed at. The location was perfect for our purposes and was a really good find; an extremely comfortable and spacious room. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly. Louisa gave us lots of information about the area to help us make the most of our stay. A choice of breakfast options were offered and were fab. Louisa is an excellent cook!

We did not get a chance to see the village but it was easy access to both Weymouth and Dorchester which are two really lovely places. We stayed in Broadmayne overnight as halfway to our holiday in Cornwall. It turned out to be excellent choice exactly half way.

The pubs were very friendly an served good food, they had local walks but we wanted to do the Golden Cap which was lovely, Stoke Abbot was another which needed more signs, as we took a long way round, it was a circular walk from a pub called The New Inn , we had lunch there after which was an old but again lovely people an dog accepting .

Louisa, our host was very welcoming, providing us with a lot of anecdotal recommendations about where to go and what to see. Oh, and a very nice breakfast! The B & B at Broadmayne is well sited for site seeing in the local area. Village pub, the Black Dog, has a good restaurant, and the New Inn just outside the village is even better.IainUnited Kingdom

They also made us feel really at home during our two night stay. The home is stunning, spacious, spotless, we loved our room and en suite and didn't want to leave! The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The BNB is a couple of minutes walk from a lovely pub that served very tasty food and a 10 min drive from Lulworth Cove.
