This is the first time of using IHG. I was more than impressed with the facilities and the quality of the hotel and staffing. I was particularly impressed with the restaurant, though the quality of the breakfast fair could have been better.
Offering a restaurant, a bar, free Wi-Fi and free parking, The Crown by Marstons Inns is located in Droitwich. The property is 12 miles away from the historic cathedral city of Worcester.
Staff lovely, room nice breakfast good. Restaurant mediocre. Access to Accessible room was through a lit of doors and some difficult to negotiate which is hard for someone with disabilities. . This hotel is under refurbishment so access to patio gardens etc not available. Was not given this information at time of booking. Blood stained duvet.

Breakfast average, poor value and I have a wheat allergy which the waitress didn't understand really.

Worst service ever.
Worst service ever. No table available for evening meal, room was freezing cold, one small heater in bedroom was off on arrival and took ages to warm up. No heating in bathrooms whatsoever, staff fed us a load of bu#@$hit and did not deliver what they promised. Would never stay again.

The hotel is alright, rooms are spacious and bed comfortable. The price is misleading, because you'll probably will go there by car, and you'll have to pay the parking. And breakfast is highly overpriced for what it is.
They have a policy from the lockdown times to NOT TO CLEAN THE ROOMS! So they save money on cleaning staff, but if you go to Reception and you ask them to clean your room or, at least to take the rubbish from the bins, you'll be asked to put it in a bag and leave it at the door! So do not expect any extra effort on the customer service side. Is a take it or leave it. A pity that nice facilities are so badly managed!

The car park is open to a public park and looks shabby on arrival. The reception area is nice and the bar pleasant. My room was large but the bathroom was dated, no pressure in the above bath shower head. Struggled to get hot water from sink to shave so reverted to boiling the kettle.
I really rate Bromsgrove Hotel and Spa, I have stayed there on a number of occasions when working in Birmingham. The hotel entrance is grand. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The facilities at the hotel are good and the swimming pool makes for a nice stay. The chap who works in the restaurant is a particular star, he is always very chirpy and his customer service is great. Highly recommend this venue to anyone needing to stay in the Greater Birmingham area.
The hotel exceeded our expectations. All the staff were friendly, very helpful and attentive. The hotel is a beautiful old house that is family owned. The breakfast was superb, cooked to order from a menu. I can't eat gluten and not only was that no problem, the evening receptionist remembered a remark I made about being able to eat there and passed it on to the staff for the following morning. That's a first for me! We will return
Everything.
We stayed in an updated premier room, and it was superb. We had a corner sofa and lots of room.
Very clean.
Reception, front of house, housekeeping, bar, and breakfast staff were great as usual.
Good food.
So dog friendly too..!!
This is our third stay this year as we need to stay local to the Bromsgrove area, and have booked our next two visits with this hotel also.
Wouldn't stay anywhere else.
Stunning venue, we were upgraded to the bridal suite for no extra charge- unbelievable room! Lovely meal at night and breakfast in the morning. Some comments stated that it was noisy as near the motorway - we had no problems at all with noise and I am a light sleeper!
Grounds were stunning and the town of bromsgrove also pleasant for shopping the next day.
You can tell it would be a stunning wedding venue.
Great place to stay - beautiful old hotel with loads of character but very comfortable. Near motorway but you can hardly hear it.We slept very well. Friendly helpful staff and very good food. We had dinner as well as breakfast. Both were excellent. It also has lovely grounds that guests can walk around. Very good value - you could spend as much or more for a bland chain hotel.
The hotel is stunning, the setting is gorgeous & the room was beautiful, the lady running the place was fantastically welcome & seemed to be doing everything single handedly! Breakfast was delicious! Bed was very comfortable & the shower was brilliant.
Location was excellent, Hotel Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming, short walk from the local Railway Station, with a very decent Pub, a fine Indian Restaurant, and a great Breakfast takeaway facility all within two minutes walk!
Really friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with a very comfortable bed, a great pub next door with good food and beers, and plenty of amenities close by; cafés, shops, restaurants etc. Also just a 5 minute taxi to the town centre.
Location was fine, about a mile from the centre of Bromsgrove, but a pleasant walk. Staff were all excellent, very helpful and our rooms were opposite each other as requested. Amble car parking, a good lift but not too many stairs.
For the low cost of rooms this hotel was adequate. There is not really alot more that can be said, other than perhaps the location is convenient for South Birmingham and North Worcestershire.
pleasant room and a comfy bed. Everything available you needed for comfort with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer. As well as big comfy towels. TV with good channel choice
