Hillltop is an excellent large property, well suited for large families or a group of friends. It is extremely well equipped and has a large well maintained garden to chill out in. Log Burner and Beamed Ceilings-2 Bed Cottage Crumpelbury and Whitbourne Hall less than a 4 minute drive Dog walking trails and local pub within walking distance and a 30 minute drive to the Malvern Hills, hotel in Bromyard

Featuring garden views, Log Burner and Beamed Ceilings-2 Bed Cottage Crumpelbury and Whitbourne Hall less than a 4 minute drive Dog walking trails and local pub within walking distance and a 30 minute...

Cute little cottage in quiet village. Perfect for two couples (two bedroom, two double beds) to get away for a couple nights, have a few drinks, chit chat and play boardgames. Very dog friendly with two medium dog mats supplied, plus bowls if you forget yours. Garden reasonably secure though a young labrador would easily squeeze under the driveway gate if they felt inclined to do so. Neighbours opposite the gate were friendly and stopped to say hello to the dogs. Community shop a couple minutes walk and we also visited The Royal Oak a few miles away for a decent carvery, dogs are welcome in the garden there too.

The Green Dragon, hotel in Bromyard

The Green Dragon, a property with a terrace, is situated in Bishops Frome, 40 km from Kingsholm Stadium, 16 km from Eastnor Castle, as well as 18 km from Hampton Court Castle & Gardens.

We were a lot later than expected due to traffic and we expected that being a smaller pub it would be bustling with locals and there would be nowhere to sit. When we arrived we found that they had reserved a table for us - we were starving and really appreciated this gesture. When we got to the room, we found we had access to a whole apartment, which was even better with kitchen facilities should we need them. They’d even lit the fire to make sure the room was toasty warm!!! We were headed to a wedding the next day and my partner wanted to ensure he had a full stomach, and we were a little concerned being that it was Easter Sunday that nowhere would be open. The host mentioned that he was doing Sunday lunch prep and he would happily make breakfast for us. Lo and behold we had an amazing full English breakfast made for us which was fabulous. This was extra, but this wasn’t a problem for us, as we expected we would be going somewhere or seeking breakfast out anyways! I couldn’t recommend this place enough, and although we only came to the area for a family wedding, the Green Dragon is a gem that shouldn’t be missed if you’re in the area!!

At first I thought it was the town time forgot BUT there were shops you really need, a butchers, bakers (no candle stick makers as I was aware off!)Also a large coop supermarket and at least 3 pubs. There were a few quaint shops/antiques and an ironmongers which seemed to sell everything from kettles to ladders.

    Old fashioned former market town.

Old fashioned former market town. We visited it to see friends who live in the town. Like so many towns in the country it is obviously battling with shops closing but it has a wealth of beautiful and historic buildings.

The Falcon Hotel was excellent, clean, plenty of hot water and friendly staff. We visited The Time Machine in the town., an eccentric Dr Who exhibition , worth the £8 price ticket. The food at the hotel was lovely, home made pork pie was delicious. The town is the epitome of a small English town.

A sweet little town with many very old well maintained buildings. We tried Foxy's steak restaurant for a huge and delicious evening meal with quick service and friendly staff, and the Brew cafe for a coffee stop - the cakes looked fantastic but we were still full from breakfast at the Holly Tree B&B. Country walks to follow if you look up the 'walks in bromyard' book. Came for a wedding but could have stayed longer! Really beautiful area.

I arrived as a very wet and bedraggled cyclist and was welcomed with warmth and aplomb - the prevailing atmosphere throughout was welcoming and pleasant. The room was warm and comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the ability to keep my bike inside to access my bags was very much appreciated - overall this was an excellent B&B and I could not have asked for more. A short walk into Bromyard - so location very good for the non car-user.

This is the most perfect place. Fantastic hosts, stunning and idyllic location. Time to escape the rat race when you turn off the main road and head down the track. My partner and I loved it here. Cottage was beautiful, we had lovely fresh eggs laid out for us,, Is ideal for walks across fields, down into the woods to hidden valleys and along scenic paths. Is a great location for NT properties and Bromyard.

The choice and standard of food on offer both at breakfast and dinner was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the character of the property and although some areas were a little outdated, the room and public areas were very clean. We really enjoyed the live folk music evening held in the venue at the back of the hotel which was free of charge.

Large country house . Comfortable beds and a good breakfast. Not far out from Bromyard, but you do need a car. Spectacular views from the bedroom. It is on a country road but you won’t hear anything at night. Jill the lady that runs the house is very helpful and will answer any questions you may have about the area and has a good supply of leaflets on the surrounding area.
