The building, the grounds, incredibly clean, all staff we met were very friendly. Chef very helpful when I asked him about gluten free foods.

This hotel was dated in need of a paint and polish. There was no iron and ironing board or towels in the room and had to ask for them. We must say it was very private didn't get bothered by any one. The green gables is a magnificent building. I thought it was a bit expensive for what we got at £101 per night for 3 nights. But apart from this we had a pleasant stay in Scarborough and certainly would stay here again if the price was a bit lower for what you get .
