The hotel has a lovely atmosphere. It is beautifully decorated to the highest standard,The rooms are very comfortable with exceptional bathrooms. The standard of cleanliness is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The location is ideal for the city; the restaurants , the cathedrals , the castle and the theatre. We would definitely recommend and certainly return if we visit Norwich again.

The food in the George and Dragon pub was lovely and the service was excellent. We liked that you could buy a drink from the pub and take it down to your room in a plastic cup. The owners/staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed as well as checking to make sure the hot tub was hot enough and helping us with the WiFi. The room and hot tub was clean and we would definitely visit again!

This was a great little break from hostels, which was also cheaper than a 12 bunk dorm room in Oslo.

quiet.
Overlooking the River Bure, this black-and-white timbered lodge offers a cosy pub with seasonally inspired food. The Southern Comfort paddle boat is moored just outside the property.

Breakfast was very good, lots of choice could have done with some cereal. Service was a bit patchy, order came with beans and no mushrooms as asked for. Had to ask for cutlery and butter just a bit of effort needed really.
Room was good, nice ensuite, windows not great as pigeons came in room when opened.
Location really good couldnt have been better.
Just think with a little money spent on it to update and a bit of training for staff this location could be excellent. Staff very friendly and did try. Food when it arrived as did have to wait quite a while was excellent and worth the wait.

Plenty of places to walk the dog.
Plenty of places to walk the dog. Quiet but all local facilities- groceries, hairdressing, wonderful hardware shop with fantastic helpful staff, pleasant marina to look round even without a boat! Access to the broads and plenty of pleasant places to walk, sit and enjoy.
