The room is spacious and the bed comfy. Wifi and TV and perfectly adequate. The shower temp is constant and the pressure great. We feel that our dogs are welcome which is a bonus.

What I didn't like...Unfortunately I booked an upstairs room, very noisy due the extractor fans . Changed rooms to the other side of the hotel ground floor. It was a lot quieter, but unfortunately there are no carpets on the upstairs floor and thus, when ever anybody came into the room it became noisy. So it's not a hotel for me

Room was great & the location. Lovely grounds & near to various pubs & shopping facilties. 10 min drive from McArthur Glen Bridgend shopping outlet. Not far from Porthcawl that we visited on our return journey.

Bed was comfortable. Nice view from window. Room decent size. Lady at breakfast very friendly. Good cooked breakfast but disappointing gluten free bread had been used up. We had advised in advance about gluten free needs.
Mair's is located in Bridgend town centre. Free private parking is available on site. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries and hairdryer.
