Convenient location for visit to family. Clean and spacious rooms. Good accessible room with plenty of space. Food choices good but nothing amazing. Breakfast had issues with them running out of stock - semi skimmed milk. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to make guest experience excellent

Burnley and surrounding area was not particularly what I hasd hoped for , it seemed to be very "run down" , actually decideded to leave Burnley and headed to Skipton , a much more visitor friendly experience. On the second day wanted to explore the heritage museum but this was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays , so we explored Newchurch in Pendle for the Witch shop the decided to head to the Yorkshire Dales.

We didn't spend time in the town of Burnley. As we have family living in the area, we've visited fairly regularly. The countryside around is beautiful. On previous occasions we've visited a National Trust property and other venues, chosen by them.

The centre is walkable, and there is a variety of shops and eateries and although an old town there modernisation of some of the old buildings, there is a market, and a good bus station but the railway is a little out of town. You can see the embankment of the Leeds and Liverpool canal.

Went for a wedding in Bacup hotel was in a good location for us. Went by car but looked like there were plenty of bus options. Ate at reception so didn't try any of the local eateries but seemed plenty of places to choose from.
Beautiful hotel, lovely restaurants, amazing staff especially Rudolph who held an umbrella for me whilst my husband went to get the car. We had problems starting our car and Rudolph sorted everything fir us and got us to our wedding on time . Would highly recommend, we will definitely be back again from Wales to visit family and friends 😊
The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, clean and in excellent condition. The location was perfect, as it is within walking distance of Burnley town centre and other attraction, such as Turf Moor and Townley Park, but far enough out to make it peaceful. There is dedicated parking, and the outside garden and canalside seating area is beautiful. The adjoining restaurant and bar is nice, with somewhat limited opening hours. All of the staff that we met were very helpful and welcoming, as was the owner.
This hotel should have been great. We booked 2 classic rooms (right above reception so not as good a location as the more expensive rooms but they were the only ones available when booking). the rooms were small but had comfy beds and brand new, really big bathrooms.
The decor of the reception area is really lovely which some quirky touches. handy location for our visit to the White Swan in Fence village and beautiful scenery and walks nearby.
The house is clean, spacious and warm. I had a great nights sleep and it was certainly a better place to stay than any of the common roadside hotels. It had good parking and it had everything I needed. And I have to mention the shower - it was a proper full on shower, not one of those cheap tiny heads, but a proper full size shower. Brilliant. I would absolutely use this property again.
We were travelling to Burnley for a family celebration and The Secret Annexe was a perfect spot. On the doorstep of Burnley town centre, you had everything that you would need. There were tea and coffee facilities supplied. also had some welcome gifts of snacks, wine and Prosecco. Definitely went above & beyond. Bed was very comfortable and no noise intrusion. Definitely recommend
The property was about a mile walk from the Burnley football stadium. There were two bedrooms and it was perfect to have a bedroom with 3 single beds for our 3 kids! The downstairs was very nice and equipped! The host was extremely helpful and responsive when I had questions!
This is a contemporary hotel with beautiful decor throughout. The bedrooms were beautiful and very quiet. Common areas were stunning. Everywhere was immaculately clean. The staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. we would definitely stay again.
Nice location not too far from Burnley town centre with train stations nearby. 3 bus routes also are a few minutes walk away.
Room was nice and clean upon arrival. Not too bad for where I needed to be as part of my job and business trip. I think I would stay again.
The staff were very friendly. Always greeted with a friendly smile and could not accommodate you enough. Everyone clearly enjoyed their work. The hotel would hugely benefit from investment as the core building is beautiful it just needs a renovation on the inside.
Great boutique hotel in the middle of town.fabulous staff,Marnie In particular, but not taking anything away from Michael,Alison, and Donna.Room was quiet, cozy and spacious.A small safe for valuables would have made it perfect.Would definately stay again.
Well located, has character and was clean and tidy. Room was basic but OK for what i needed. Staff could be friendlier but did answer the questions raised and did help if asked. Hotel was clean and dinner / breakfast was very good.
Staff welcoming and helpful. Self service breakfast was good and constantly being refreshed by staff. Clean and comfortable room. Evening meal available.
Very convenient for M65 and for visiting Burnley area.
The location was very pretty, in a nice area of the town. A little tough to get back from the town center by foot, but there are buses that stop nearby. Room was very nice and the bed was big and comfortable.
It was immaculate! Decorated to a very high standard.Great location ..slap bang in Burnley town centre. All the different codes for doors were a tad confusing but got there in the end x
Paid for room only. Room was clean , modern and comfortable. Extra heater , duvet etc if required.
Friendly owner. Lovely area , and no problem in finding a parking space .
It was so clean, modern and easy to stay there! Everything we needed was in the room (oh except glasses/ice) and there was plenty of room to move. The bed was comfy
Very nice atmosphere, the people who own it are very very welcoming and accommodating, amazing place to stay and would highly recommend. An amazing little hotel
